Screenshot [1] Screenshot [1] shows that the Library Automation Software you are using is a demo version software. You need to activate the software by sending me the Client Reference Key to get Activation Key. Contact me for the activation key without any hesitation. Screenshot [2] Screenshot [2] is the Library Automation System Gateway to enter into the software. The default user name and password and press the Login button to enter into the software. Default user name and password are as follows: User Name : Administrator Password : admin

Screenshot [3] Screenshot [3] showing the main screen of the software where there are different menu options at the top of the screen and at the bottom computer name, current time, current date, current academic session, logged in user name and developer s information i.e. name, mobile number, email and website of the developer. I am describing the menu options with their screen shots in brief as follows: Master >> Institution Details Screenshot [4] Screenshot [4] stores yours institution information to use in various reports in the Library Automation Software. You can change the institution name, address, phone etc.

Master >> Library Departments Screenshot [5] Screenshot [5] shows the master information of the Library departments. By default the software already added a department named Library and can also add more departments, if the library has multiple departments and set the rules for circulation of the books among students. Circulations Chargeable : Check if circulation of books is chargeable in particular department. Circulation Charges % : Set the percentage of circulation charges according to the book price. ACC No. Starts From : By default 1 for Library department. If your library has started ACC No. from another series then you can change the ACC No. Lost Book Charge % : If any member of the library lost any book then library charges the book price in percentage i.e. some library charges 200% of the book price in case of book is lost. No. of days Return : If a book issued under Library department any member need to deposit that book in particular days. Set the return days in the column. Penalty Per Day USD (Currency is customizable in the software) : If any member returns book after above specified number of days then late deposit penalty can be set in this column on the basis of per day. You can set your country currency in the software. (Admin Utility >> Date, Time, Price) Note: You can update any entries by double clicking on the list of department(s).

Master >> Classes/Courses Master Screenshot [6] Screenshot [6] add classes/courses that institution running and also set the maximum number of books issued to a particular student studying in a particular class/course. You can also change further by selecting (double click on the list). Master >> Institution Departments Screenshot [7] Screenshot [7] an institution has different faculty and departments according to their subjects. Through this form you can add and update the institution departments which will use for staff members to find and recognize. Master >> Staff Designation Screenshot [8] Screenshot [8] add designation of the staff members working in the institution like Principal, Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer, Teacher etc. You can also delete unnecessary designation by selecting from the list by double clicking on the list.

Important Feature: You can also search in the list by typing on the list everywhere in the Library Automation Software. It s an excellent feature of the software. Master >> Purchase Scheme Screenshot [9] Screenshot [9] is the master entry for books purchasing schemes. By default it includes General purchase scheme. Some government supported institutions purchases the books fund provided by the government authority/department like University Grants Commission (UGC). Therefore you can create the purchase scheme i.e. UGC Grant. If not required then every book will be entered in the software will be added under General purchase scheme. Master >> Authors Screenshot [10] Screenshot [10] provides you an environment for entry of books authors in bulk, so that whenever you catalogues for the books authors list provided and take minimum time for books cataloguing.

Master >> Publications Screenshot [11] This provides you to enter the publication of the books, so that whenever you catalog for the books publication list populated and take minimum time for books cataloguing and entry. Master >> Source Screenshot [12] This is provides you to enter the firm or book seller names from where library frequently purchases the books. Master >> Subject Screenshot [13] Screenshot [13] is a form through which you can enter the books subject master entries available in the library.

Master >> Book Mediums Screenshot [14] This showing the form through which you can enter the medium i.e. the books language. Entries >> Books Entries Screenshot [15] This is the important form of Library Automation Software from where you can catalogue the books. Through this form you can find all the master entries into the lists like publication, source, subject, medium etc. The functionality of this form described as under: Save/Update Book Entry: The books entered in this form can be saved and also update by selecting the books by double clicking onto the below list. Delete: The already entered books can be deleted if you have entered the wrong entry into catalogue. You can also find the book(s) by entering ACC. No. into <From> <To> area or you can find a single books entry by entering the ACC. No. in <From> or <To> box. Copy: This is most important button on this form. Just find a book of which you want to enter multiple entries purchased by the library. You can also mark any book as Lost or Write-Off by updating the status of the book.

Entries >> Student & Staff Profile Screenshot [16] Through this entry form you can enter the student & staff profile i.e. the members of the library can be entered. Also you can select the photo of the student from this screen from you local drive. The list provided beside the form is the list of library members on which you can find any library member by typing on the list and update the entry by double clicking on a particular member. You can also view the previous session members by selecting any session from the list on the top of the screen in any selected course/ class. Entries >> Student Promotion Screenshot [17] This module of screen promotes the selected students into next higher class or course on just a single click on the change of the session. Therefore, no need to enter the previously entered students profile.

Entries >> Click Student Photos Screenshot [18] This is the newest and unique feature in the Library Automation Software through which you can click the student s photo using the software using web camera. You just select the particular student from the list by double clicking on any student and click the Start CAM button. The software saves the student photo that standing in front of the web camera. Therefore, no need of physical photo scanning required. Entries >> Physical Verification Screenshot [19] Any institution needs to verify the large number of books available in the library annually. To start verification you need to create new verification for any selected session by clicking on the button <CREATE NEW VERIFICATION FOR SELECTED SESSION-2>. By using the barcode scanner it is very easy to verify the books. Make sure when you use barcode scanner to scan the books your cursor must be into the ACC. No. box. It generates the verified report whenever the verification is completed.

Periodicals >> Periodical Master Screenshot [20] This form takes the entries of periodicals available into the library. You can select the type of periodical, activate/deactivate the periodicals which are not purchased in current period and also can select the frequency of the periodical in which library receives the particular periodical. Periodicals >> Received Entry Screenshot [21] The library receives periodicals on different frequency like daily, weekly, monthly etc. This form provides you the receivable entry of any periodical in very easy way and also you can select the quantity received by the library of particular periodical.

Search >> Books Searching Screenshot [22] Searching of books from large amount of books is most important task in any library. This Library Automation Software provides you the easiest way to search any desired book(s) from the large number of books. You can search the books by selecting different criteria of search like Title, Author, Publication, Subject and even combination of two criteria i.e. desired Title by particular Author. It also provides you feature to Export search data of books into MS-Excel format for further use. Search >> Books Status Screenshot [23] If you want to know any book s status this form will help you to find by entering the ACC.No. of the book. It will show the book is (IN / OUT) i.e. available into the library or issued to any member of the library. It shows the books is Active/ Lost/ Write-Off. It also shows the book is issued to any student or staff member.

Circulation >> Books Circulation Screenshot [24] Circulation is the most important task of any library. This Library Automation Software provides the easiest way to circulate books into the library members. Select the list of members (Student/Staff) by clicking on <GO> button. By typing on the list of members you can search particular member of the library. On the right side of the screen shows account of the issued books, Temporary issued books which are still into the library but can t be issued to any other member. Cancel Temporary Issued books: Just uncheck the temporary issued book and press <Confirm Issue>. It will automatically release the book and available for further issue to another member of the library. Issue by Barcode Scanner: Just select particular member from the list, select <Issue> option button. Make sure your cursor must be into ACC.No. box and scan the barcode from the book label. It will temporary issue the book to the selected member. To confirm issue, just press <Confirm Issue-F9> button. Deposit by Barcode Scanner: Make sure the cursor into the ACC.No., <Deposit> option is selected, scan the barcode. Now just press the Deposit button, the selected books deposited on date which are entered or selected into Deposit Dt. If you verify the Penalty for late deposited books, just press the <Penalty> button. Lost Book Entry: Select a single book from list of Issued Book and just press <LOST> button. It will show you the book price as well as a member can deposit the same book in place of lost book. Advance Booking: If any book is loaned to some other member of the library and a member required to advance booking of the book, then just enter the ACC.No. of the book and press the <Advance Booking> button. The Advance booking of Books list shows of particular student.

Reports >> Barcode Screenshot [25] Library can generate the barcode labels for books. Barcode can be printed using any laser printer. The single or multiple books or selected books barcode can be print using this library automation software. Reports >> Issue-Deposit Screenshot [26] There are different kinds of reports in this library automation software. This is a sample of Issue and Deposit report. The many reports can be customized if institution requires.

Admin Utility >> User Management Screenshot [27] The user management is so easy and administrator can allot the rights to access the software authentication. Admin Utility >> Database Backup Screenshot [28] Data is most important for any software. Accidentally if data looses and you don t have any backup and you need to start the automation process from beginning. But in this software you can take the data backup periodically, so that institution not suffers the problem. Important: This is the short presentation of the Library Automation Software.
