It s going to be a great year!

Why Does Mrs. Mahr Hate Hot Dogs? Most people like hot dogs, including myself which has left me wondering why Mrs. Mahr hates them. You must be wondering too! I have interviewed Mrs. Mahr to find the reason why. Here is her response: I can't stand the smell and texture. Also, when I think about the inside of them, I get sick. When I was younger, I regrettably saw a commercial where a hot dog, which was being cooked in a microwave, exploded. Ever since then, I have not eaten a hot dog, and I never will again. - Mrs. Mahr. -Lillian Flood Ask Eric Hi, I m Eric Maciag, and I m an eighth grade student here at CMS. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I have a very special talent. The thing is, I happen to know everything. Yes. You heard me right. I know everything. So, with that being said, I am here to help you with your problems. The Great American Spell Check Have you always been a terrible speller? This is your chance to brush up on your spelling skills while helping a family in need. As you probably know, we are looking to support Noah Lorencovitz and his family in any way we can. Medical costs have been quite costly for them. The good news is that people are helping. Some students are pledging money themselves or reaching out to friends and family members to support them in the Great American Spell Check. Students will collect pledges and return those forms by November 7. On November 16, we will take a spelling check quiz for this cause. For each word that is correct, money will be donated to the Lorencovitz family. Don t worry! If spelling is not your area of expertise, you can always donate a flat fee! And remember Our goal is to raise $3000 for the Lorencovitz family. November 16 is the day of the test - be prepared! And last but not least, PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED TO THE GRADE WITH THE MOST PARTICIPANTS AND THE PEOPLE WITH THE TOP SCORES!! - Natasha Khetan Jokes of Autumn 1.
