The videotaping or other video or audio recording of this production is strictly prohibited. Bravo to the parents who chaperoned, baked, drove, advised, encouraged, and gave us their talented children for a while. The Music Man from the director: Having been given the responsibility for directing The Music Man for this season, I thought back to the second musical done by the Guild at the old BCI auditorium in 1976, the same Music Man, directed by our own Liz Marshall in which I played the role of Marcellus. I remembered how important it was to get the right people to make it work, so the audition process was essential. We feel we have as good a cast as we have had on the Guild stage as well as top production people for vocal, choreography, stage management etc.. We have a great mix of experienced as well as new people and a range of ages from 8 to 80 who are helping to make this show as successful as possible. There are a total of 40 in all, so the stage will be bulging at the seams in the full cast numbers. We hope you will enjoy the characters and the music from such a classic 50 s musical and that you will leave the theatre singing those tunes. David Kidd AUDITONS: On Golden Pond: June 26, 2pm; June 27, 7pm Evening of One-Acts: July 10, 2pm; July 11, 7pm. All auditions at the Pinnacle Playhouse.

AN EVENING OF ONE-ACT PLAYS AUG. 31 - SEP. 3, 2016 Not seen before on any stage but created by talented local playwrights we present our third annual EVENING of ONE-ACT PLAYS. A selection of short, experimental pieces of theatre from comedy to tragedy to moods in-between, set on earth and beyond. This event has brought new audiences, packed the theatre and always shakes up downtown in a way you don t want to miss! FOUR NIGHTS ONLY! Tickets $10.00 at the door. (Not part of our subscription series). AUDITIONS: July 10, 2pm; July 11, 7pm at Pinnacle Playhouse On Golden Pond by Ernest Thompson ON GOLDEN POND OCT 13-29, 2016 by Ernest Thompson. Directed by Esther Parry Through the joy and heartache of a long marriage, Ethel and Norman have loved each other and shared a love for their summer home on Golden Pond, the natural Eden in which all the play s conflicts begin and end. Still as touching and funny as it was in its 1979 opening on Broadway, this play makes the sunset of a love more beautiful than you can imagine. AUDITIONS: June 26, 2pm; June 27, 7pm at Pinnacle Playhouse arsenic & old Lace by Joseph Kesselring ARSENIC & OLD LACE DEC. 1-17, 2016 by Joseph Kesselring. Directed by Tim Fransky We present one of the great, madcap comedies of all time. Mortimer decides he will never marry until he falls for the girl-next-door and they wed on Halloween. When the couple return home, he finds a corpse hidden in a window seat, his aunts behaving very strangely, and the rest of his family bordering on insanity. The bodies pile up and the plot thickens, as they say! P R E S E N T S NORM FOSTER S THE THE MELVILLE BOYS FEB. 2-18, 2017 by Norm Foster. Directed by Phil Bowerman Owen and Lee, though brothers, are polar opposites in character and circumstances. When they decide to go away together and do a little fishing, the waters get rougher by the hour as two women enter their getaway and really rock the boat. This is truly Foster at his finest and the comedy is smart, unpretentious, and sometimes sweetly sad. PRIDE & PREJUDICE Mar. 30 - Apr. 15, 2017 from the novel by Jane Austen, adapted for the stage by Jon Jory. Directed by Lise Lindenberg Imagine this. It is 1813; you have five daughters who will not inherit any of your estate and so must marry well. Your daughter Elizabeth witty and independent encounters the eligible but proud Mr. Darcy and domestic life is turned upside down in this charming and humorous drama of friendship, rivalry, mistaken beliefs and love. LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS June 1-17, 2017 by Alan Menken & Howard Ashman. Directed by Meaghan Lattanzio From the depths of the inner-city darkness of Skid Row comes the wild ride that is Little Shop of Horrors. A dark, but hilarious musical tribute to the doo wop music and B-rated horror movies of the 1950s; it features a score that will have you tapping your toes and rethinking the extremes you would go to for love, fame and fortune. by Alan Menken & Howard Ashman
