S020 fluorescent tube luminary DESCRIPTION: Fluorescent lamps S020 are suitable above all for uniform lighting of bigger areas. Lamps from the range S020 are manufactured from extruded aluminium profile with plastic faces where two fluorescent tubes T5, a polished aluminium reflector and OSRAM electronic ballast are placed. The carrying section is tightened by a polyurethane seal that resists to all known lubrication and cutting fluids. The front side of the lamp is covered by a 4 mm strong hardened glass with extraordinary resistance against breakdown. Both side faces of the lamp are equipped with threads for the gland M20x1.5, so it is possible to choose complement of the gland left (L), right (R) or for continuous power supply (LR). The connective terminal box is hidden under the gland. The connecting terminal box is accessible after unscrewing of the gland tightened by O ring. Thanks to this, the connection of the lamp to the supply is very quick and easy and does not require dismantle of the lamp s sealing components. LUMINARY INSTALLATION: The lamp is fastened to the machine standardly by plastic clamps inserted into the cut on the lamp s bottom part. The clamps have an opening with a diameter of 5.1 mm and the spacing of these openings is 142.5 mm after mounting to the lamp. Four pieces of plastic clamps are attached as a part of the delivery in the standard version.
Upon wish, the lamp can be equipped with two joint clamps with the possibility of turning within the range +10 60 degrees. TIPS FOR INSTALLATION: 1) Mount the lamp in such a way that the gland with cable is placed on the lowest point. 2) Hole for the supply cable through the panel, on which the lamp is mounted, should be lower than the lamp s gland 3) If you use a cable with metal braid, finish the braid before the gland, apply the shrinking tube through the end of the braid and lead only the middle of the cable with the shrinking tube into the gland. Water could rise into the lamp through the metal braid even through a very well tightened gland. Position of cable gland: Right
