Features In accordance with the National Electrical Code (USA) the cables are UL Listed as type CMR. In accordance with CSA Standard C22.2 No. 214M the cables are CSA certified CMG (FT-4). Cables are compatible with the DS-1 standard for a maximum length of 450 ft. (137m) for the T100 Series. Specification / Reference MC-20544 Core Construction Annealed Tinned Copper 24 AWG (0.5mm) Solid polyethylene consisting of dual layer with an outer layer of colored polyvinyl chloride. Pairs Insulated conductors are twisted together to show distinct color combinations. To provide optimum transmission characteristics in the finished cable, twist lengths of different pairs are varied. Cable Core Cables are formed in a unit construction. Sheath T100 Series cable cores are enclosed in a composite sheath consisting of an alum/polyester shield applied longitudinally with an overlap (alum side out) a 24 AWG tinned copper drain wire placed longitudinally and a light olive gray PVC jacket.
