1. Log in 1. Enter ID/PW. 2. Log in. If you can neither log in or see the pop-up even after clicking the Login button, please try again after allowing pop-ups for the site. (See pp. 17 19) If the user has the same ID for both NRF and JAMS, a pop-up will be displayed asking which ID to use. E.g.) If Mr. Hong has the following NRF/JAMS accounts: - NRF ID/PW: hong/1234, - JAMS ID/PW: hong/4321, Entering the JAMS ID/PW (ID: hong PW: 4321) and clicking the Login button will display the pop-up on the left. If there are more than one member whose ID is admin, a pop-up ma y be displayed asking which accoun t to use for logging in. Here, you must select JAMS member to achieve normal log-in (because the password entered above is the password for the JAMS account). - 2 -
2. Submitting a New Paper (1) 1. Journals > Submit Paper> New manuscripts 2. Select a journal where you wish to submit your paper from the journal list. 1 2-3 -
2. Submitting a New Paper (2) 1. Read the Code of Research Ethics. 2. Write the names of all authors who participated in the preparation of the paper. 3. Click the Sign in button. In case of submitting a new paper, the Code of Research Ethics must be completed before submitting the paper. 3 4-4 -

[Previous]: Save the current progress, and go to the previous step. 3. [Next]: Save the current progress, and go to the next step. 4. [Document Similarity Detection Service]: Use the paper similarity check function provided by KCI. 6-5 -
2. Submitting a New Paper (4) The contributor is already registered as an author; do not add the contributor as an author. 7 1. Search KRI Member: Indicate whether the contributor is a researcher member of KRI. 2. Checklist and CCL Setting (There may be no checklist for some journals.) 3. Submit. Menu Overview 1. [Add Korean/Foreigner]: Select one of these two buttons when adding author in formation. 2. [Previous]: Save the current progress, and go to the previous step. 3. [Submit]: Submit the registered information. 4. [Document Similarity Detection Service]: Use the similarity detection service provi ded by KCI Clicking one of the author addition buttons will display the author registration menu. The user can either enter the information, or use the information of existing JAMS/KRI members using the [Search for Members] menu. Author Type - Three types: Main Author, Corresponding Author, Coauthor - Coauthor: Authors other than the main author and corresponding authors are classified as coauthors Author Information Registration - Search KRI Member: Search for KRI/JAMS members and automatically register their information - Input by the user: The user enters the required information (*) at the registration menu. - 6 -

3. Submitting a Revised Manuscript(1) 1 After log-in, clicking [Standby Work] displays the number of papers awaiting submission of a revised paper. Clicking it will bring the user to the relevant menu. 1. The contributor logs in to the system (see p.2) 2. Go to Journals > Submit Papers> Revi sed manuscripts (After log-in, click [To do list] to shortcut to the menu) 3. Select a paper for which a revised ma nuscript should be submitted. Notes 1. The paper appears on this list if the re sult of the last review (total review) is e ither accepted after revision, con dition after revision, many modifi ed after revision or re-review after revision. 2. The user can view the review result wh en submitting the revised paper. 3. Submission of revised papers will be r epeated until the editing committee pro vides an accepted opinion. 2-8 -
3. Submitting a Revised Manuscript(2) 1. View the reviews from the reviewers and the total review from the editing committee. (See pp. 11 12) 2. Write and register a response to the review by summarizing the revisions made as per the review. (See p. 13) 5 <Omitted Menu> The bibliographical information registered for the original submission is displayed here. The bibliographic information may be revised, depending on the journal s regulation setting. 3. Submit a revised manuscript file. (Select 찾아보기 (Lookup) -> Upload File ) 4. Go to the next step. 5. 3. Submitting a Revised Manuscript(3) <Omitted Menu> 1. View the review from the reviewers and the total review from the editing committee. (See pp. 11 12) 2. Prepare and register a response to the review by summarizing the revisions made as per the review. (See p. 13) 3. Submit a revised manuscript file. (Select 찾아보기 (Lookup) -> Upload File ) 4. Go to the next step. 5. Click Submit after changing the auth or information as needed. 7-10 -

3. Submitting a Revised Manuscript(4) Viewing the Total Review from the Editing Committee Menu Overview 1. The contributor may select the View Total Review menu to check the total review on the paper. Basic information of the paper reviewed by the reviewers (the last paper submitted by the contributor) Editor s total review from the last review This determines whether a revised/final paper should be submitted - 12 -
3. Submitting a Revised Manuscript(4) Registering a Review Response Basic information of the paper for which the editor provided the total review (the last paper submitted by the contributor) 1. Check the Review Response pop-up. 2. Write the review response. 3. Click the Confirm button. 4. The pop-up is closed. 5. Check the Response Submitted message next to the [Write Review Response] button. Write the responses to revision requests. If the contributor wrote a review response in a separate file, the contributor can upload the file here. - 13 -
4. Submitting a Final Manuscript After log-in, clicking [Standby Work] displays the number of papers awaiting submission of a final paper. Clicking it will bring the user to the relevant menu. 1 1. The contributor logs in to the system. (See p. 2) 2. Go to Journals > Submit Papers> Final manuscripts (After log-in, click [To-do list] as a shortcut to the menu.) 3. Select a paper for which a final manuscript should be submitted. 4. Make the final revision to the bibliographic information, and upload the final paper file 5. Make the final revision to the author informationl, checklist, CCL setting, Preprint service setting, etc. 6. Submit. 7. The paper submission process is complete when the administrator receives the paper. 2 Notes 1. The paper appears on this list if the result of the last review (general opinion) is accepted. 2. In case of submitting a final manuscript, an (F) mark appears next to the number. (F: Final) - 14 -
5. Submission History [Journals > Submit Paper> Submission History] The contributor can view the review progress and contribution history for the paper submitted by the contributor. The contributor can view the detailed information on a paper by clicking on the title. Clicking the Status button shows the review records (review comment, total review) for the paper. - 15 -
6. Final check of the proofs [e-publishing>final check of the proofs] The contributor can view the proof-reading result for the paper submitted by the contributor. 1 2 Only the papers for which the publi sher completed proofreading are di splayed here. Process 1. Select a category, and click View Details. 2. Click the title of the paper. 3. The information on the proofread paper and the original file can be viewed on the pop-up. 3-16 -
