Mr. Jacobs is considered one of the world s most accomplished organists and is also chair of the organ department at the Juliard School. This is the first disc of solo classical organ music ever to win a Grammy! Third, in 1982 the AGO established an Annual Fund to help generate income beyond member dues. Monies raised support the general operating expenses of the national organization. Our Executive Committee has approved a contribution of $500 to the Annual Fund in honor of our membership. And finally, thank you all for an extraordinary program year. From Hector Olivera to the Bach Birthday Bash and everything in between and following, it was a privilege and a joy to work with those of you who, through planning, presenting, performing, or attending, made each of these events a tremendous success. We are making friends for the organ thank you each for your part in that! I look forward to the coming year.
