SFASU Trumpet Studio Activities Collaboration performance with SFASU University Trumpet Ensemble, Dr. Scott LaGraff (baritone), Dr. Todd Fish, men s chorus, percussion department, and organ. Planned for April 22, 2017 Artist Residency Matthew Ernst, Principal Trumpet of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, to give a masterclass and conduct private lessons for members of the SFASU Trumpet Studio and perform a solo recital. Planned for February 18, 2017. Flugelhorn Day Members of the SFASU Trumpet Studio will present a studio recital featuring music composed especially for Flugelhorn and Piano. In addition to a musical performance, the musicians will present the members of the studio with a brief dossier regarding their selected composition. This will provide members of the studio with information regarding this growing genre in our field. Planned for Winter 2017 Trumpet Caroling - Led the SFASU Trumpet Ensemble in a series of performance of festive holiday music for residences of several assisted living facilities, memory care facilities, and senior citizen centers in the Nacogdoches Community.
