BRAND LAUNCH IDEAS MAKE A LIST. Start by making a list of every item that needs to be updated with your new logo. Here are a few ideas to get you started... - Social Media Accounts - Email Signature - Website - Brochures/collateral - Letterhead/envelopes THINK ABOUT YOUR GOAL. What was your reason behind rebranding? Needed a more modern look? Wanted to reach out to a new audience? It helps to outline this in a sentence or two and keep it close by for the next step. WRITE THE PRESS RELEASE. Some of the items on your list from the first step will require a bit of text to pair with it. For example, a new logo on your email signature doesn t need an explaination but you could take advantage of your social media accounts by posting about your rebrand. When writing this content, reference the goals from step 2. Be sure your tone and content match that goal. If your company does business locally, consider a press release in the local paper as a form of free advertising. Hold off on publishing any of these until your official launch date. CHOOSE A DATE. It helps to pick a date and work backwards. Does it make sense to launch your new brand on a specific date? An anniversary? Roll it out along with a new product? As you change locations? The date you choose should be far enough in advance for you to put the new branding in place across all channels. INFORM THE TEAM. If your business consists of multiple employees, be sure to inform everyone about the new brand and answer any questions they may have. The logo files and logo usage guide should be made available to all who used the previous logo in any capacity. It is imporant that the new brand is consistent across all of your marketing channels. BUILD EXCITEMENT. Give sneak peeks and hints to let your audience know what is coming. Perhaps a countdown for the week leading up to launch day?
