O C T. 1 0 4 T H E T E N T E N O R S The season opens big with this powerful and entertaining vocal group from Australia. They have amazed and delighted audiences throughout Australia, New Zealand, Europe and, now, America. They love all genres of music, jumping from opera to Broadway, from the Bee Gees to rock. You ll be bowled over by the great vocal sound these ten voices generate. They are fun, hip and witty and armed with their great voices and boundless enthusiasm they are a terrifically entertaining ensemble. Single tickets: $40 & $35 Sponsored by: Giant Eagle CRAZY FOR YOU O C T. 2 0 0 4 This large-scale Broadway touring production, by George and Ira Gershwin, will thrill our audience with its Tony Award winning combination of classic Gershwin songs, exciting dance numbers, and great sets and costumes. Crammed with popular standards like, 2 0 0 I ve Got Rhythm, Embraceable You, They Can t Take That Away From Me, and Someone To Watch over Me, this story of a stage-struck playboy starting a theater in a mining town includes romance and a host of hilarious mistaken identities. This is the Broadway musical at its best. Single tickets: $40 & $35 Sponsored by: Dr. & Mrs. Pek C. Teh and Dr. & Mrs. Daniel J. Callaghan, Jr. F O R B E S T S E A T I N G

4-2 0 0 5 N O V. 2 0 0 4 THE MENDELSSOHN CHOIR The 100 voice Mendelssohn Choir is the choir of choice of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Under the direction of the Grammy Award winning Music Director Robert Page, the choir is renowned for its versatility of repertoire. The choir has traveled with the Symphony to Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, has toured internationally and presents an annual concert series. The choir will present a program of familiar and popular music. Nothing in the world of entertainment equals the delightful experience of listening to a well-trained large choral group. Single tickets: $35 & $30 Sponsored by: The Jameson Health System Beautifully Renovated Orr Auditorium Westminster College s Orr auditorium, home of the Celebrity Series, has undergone its greatest renovations in 38 years. Major improvements in staging shows, including electrical supply, new stage lighting, load-in elevators, reinforced stage superstructure and new dressing rooms, have been completed. But, the audience will be more visually aware of improvements in the auditorium that include, total renovation of the seats, new carpeting, new painted walls, and (the audience favorite), air conditioning. These improvements will make Orr Auditorium one of the most beautiful in this area and will give the college the capability of staging the large-scale musicals and shows touring the country today. The auditorium will meet the challenge of being the cultural center of our community and region. C A L L T O D A Y! 7 2 4-9 4 6-7 3 5 4

D E C. 3 0 4 T H E J O H N P I Z Z A R E L L I T R I O A N D T H E YOUNGSTOWN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA H A P P Y H O L I D A Y S This lovely holiday program brings back two old favorites of the Celebrity Series audience. John Pizzarelli and his trio wowed our audience several years ago. He is hailed by critics for his brilliant guitar work and smooth vocals, in the Sinatra tradition. John has gained a wide following from his numerous stage, TV and concert performances. Nothing is more beautiful than Christmas music played by a symphony orchestra. The Youngstown Symphony under the direction of Isaiah Jackson is making its fifth appearance on the Series, a testament to their continued popularity and appeal to our theatre goers. What a wonderful way to start the Holiday season. Single tickets: $40 & $35 Sponsored by: First National Bank of Pennsylvania

TOM WOPAT & FAITH PRINCE OVER THE RAINBOW Two Celebrity Series favorites return in this delightful program celebrating the 100th anniversary of prolific composer Harold Arlen s birth. His song Over The Rainbow is generally recognized as one of top songs of the 20th century. Many of Arlen s hit songs will be sung by Faith Prince and Tom Wopat. This multimedia program will also feature behind the scene clips from the making of The Wizard of Oz, for which Arlen wrote the music. Faith Prince remains one of the top female performers on the Broadway stage. Since his appearance here seven years ago, Tom Wopat has starred in Annie Get Your Gun, 42nd Street, and is currently starring in Chicago. Both he and Faith Prince are popular cabaret performers and recording artists as well. They will be backed by a jazz quintet and two jazz vocalists. Single Tickets: $40 & $35 Sponsored by: Balph, Nicolls, Mitsos, Flannery & Clark Attorneys at Law - New Castle, PA F E B. 2 0 5
