21ST ANNUAL POST-SUBMISSION INFORMATION PACKET WHAT IS IN THIS DOCUMENT: Booklet page proof information (page 2) Nametag page proof information (page 3) Presentation format information (page 3) How to determine your presentation time (page 4) Rowan Digital Works (pages 4-12) 1

BOOKLET PAGE PROOF INFORMATION The STEM 2018 page proofs are now available as a PDF at the following link: https://tinyurl.com/2018stemproofs The above link will take you to a Rowan Google Drive folder. Requests for individual sharing links to the page proof document will not receive a response. Order of abstract presentation in the document, placement of page breaks, page numbers, etc., are not final and may change without notice. Please double-check all information, including: Your abstract category Your author list, including: o order of authors [our preference is for students to be listed before faculty] o students should be ALL CAPS, everybody else in regular text o students are to be listed before any and all faculty/staff o author affiliations, particularly authors from outside of Rowan University Spelling Special characters and formats (including italics, subscript, superscript, etc.) Inappropriately placed page breaks do NOT need to be reported as these WILL all be corrected before the booklet is finalized. The primary purpose of the Page Proof Stage is to correct errors introduced during the submission process and the subsequent processing of your abstract. Minor spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors may also be fixed. It should NOT be considered appropriate to make major updates and editorial changes to your abstract. All corrections must be received no later than NOON on Tuesday April 10. We cannot guarantee that corrections received after that time will be incorporated because the STEM Symposium Committee has a variety of deadlines coming up, including a printer's deadline. As with last year's Symposium, a booklet listing abstract titles and authors will be made available at the Symposium. The full booklet, including abstract text, will only be available online. The contents of the full booklet will be used to generate the title and author booklets available at the Symposium. Corrections should be emailed to the STEM help address (rowanstem@gmail.com). Booklet corrections MUST be listed by line number. 2

NAMETAG PAGE PROOF INFORMATION The proof document (PDF format) for Symposium nametags is now available at the following URL: https://tinyurl.com/2018stemproofs The above link will take you to a Rowan Google Drive folder. Requests for individual sharing links to the page proof document will not receive a response. The tags are ordered by User ID numbers in the STEM Symposium database, so you will probably need to use a "Search" or "Find" command to locate your tag in the document. Users may submit corrections to rowanstem@gmail.com All corrections must be received no later than NOON on Tuesday April 10. We cannot guarantee that corrections received after that time will be incorporated because the STEM Symposium Committee will need some lead time to create the actual badges. PRESENTATION FORMAT INFORMATION Display boards are provided for each poster. Each board provides a space 4 ft wide x 8 ft high. Please note that this is a vertical portrait format, and is therefore different from the horizontal landscape format used at many meeting venues. Presenting students and their faculty sponsors are responsible for preparing and printing their own posters. The STEM Symposium Committee does not provide a poster printing service. The display boards are covered in felt but are not a tackable material. You should use adhesive velcro to hang your poster. Attach the scratchy side to your poster and the felt-covered display board will serve as the fuzzy side. For additional information regarding poster dimensions and related items, please visit the following web page: https://academics.rowan.edu/csm/departments/biologicalsci/research/stem_symposium_faq_folder/stem%20p resentation%20set-up.html 3
