Yet the deadly Furasrium Wilt Fungus, or Panama Disease, could wipe all bananas across the world in less than a few months. 2 Panama Disease is so deadly that if the fungus reaches 3: North/Central/Latin America, where the majority of bananas are grown, then there would be a very strong possibility that the current type of banana could disappear.
