Comic Relief It s that time of year again! Friday 24th March marks Red Nose Day 2017. Every two years the charity specialises in projects to make a difference to millions of people across Africa and the UK who are facing injustice and poverty. Comic Relief was last held in March 2015 and raised over 78 million. In the thirty year existence of the charity over 1 billion has been raised for projects in Africa and the UK. It is tradition that Red Nose Day holds a telethon in which celebrities and everyone s favourite TV personalities take part in comedy sketches and performances to raise money for the charity. This year we can expect the cast of Love Actually to reunite, a Sounds of the 80s danceathon and a singing and dancing competition hosted by everyone's second favourite TV duo, Mel and Sue! If you would like to donate to Comic Relief you can create your own funding page. If you want to go the extra mile to do your bit, then you can download your own fundraising pack. You can do anything to fundraise: a bake sale, shoe polishing, charity football matches, anything is acceptable. Comic Relief also has merchandise available to buy, obviously the main item is the iconic Red Nose but you can also buy posters, clothing, wristbands and much more. These items can be bought from Sainsbury s, Oxfam or you can buy them on the Comic Relief online shop. Article Written By Andrew Bottcher

Our trip to the Victoria & Albert Museum On the 23rd of February I was invited to the V and A in London with the other year 10 Graphics students. I enjoyed the day a lot, especially seeing what life was like for the teenagers in the 1960s. It was very interesting to see all the art work and the sculptures. My favourite art work was a piece of typography with the world 'Revolution', it was turned into a post-card and a hoodie in the shop at the end. I loved the colours and the design, it was full of blues and pinks which was very popular in women's clothing, especially in dresses and skirts. There was also an exhibition room set as a festival with artificial grass and big screens all on the ceiling. It was fun to sit and chill for a bit enjoying the music because it was like being at a live festival! It was a fun day out with my friends on the train at the museum. 5 REASONS TO EAT LOTS OF CHOCOLATE THIS EASTER! Chocolate is the ultimate comfort food in times of stress, a reliable source of consolation when life has let us down, but is it at all healthy? If you scoff lots of it, obviously not. But there are a host of medically proven ways in which chocolate good chocolate, which is to say dark chocolate, with a cocoa percentage of around seventy per cent or more really is good for us. 1. It's good for the heart and circulation 2. It reduces risk of stroke 3. It's mineral rich 4. It reduces cholesterol 5. It can help you lose weight

Some of the best April Fools Day Pranks... The countdown to April Fools' day has begun. The most mischievous day of the year is fast approaching, have you got your April Fools' pranks ready? If not don t worry, I ve compiled a list of my top 4 April fools pranks to inspire you all for the big day. At number 4 - OREO KIDDING ME?! Replacing the white bit of an Oreo with toothpaste is a brilliant and an easy way to fool any Oreo lovers out there. At number 3 - Annoying surprise. If you re looking for a prank with some pop to it then this is the prank for you. Get a load of balloons and start filling the room with them. You may need a lot of time on your hands to pull it off. At number 2 - Is this too egg-streme? Nearing easter, why not offer an actual chocolate egg, literally. It may not crack them up but it may be egg-citing to watch. Taking the crowning spot at number 1 - Ch-Air horn. By far my favourite prank and is also so simple to pull off. Make sure you sellotape the air horn nice and high so when they sit on the chair, it sounds loud! Article Written By Brittany Duffy
