Mouthpiece Testing We schedule students who have signed-up for band We don t test the children - The children test the mouthpieces to find the best fit Everyone is different! During school, March 30 th - 31 st Results are sent home on March 31 st Students do not decide that day

How do I get an instrument? Most students play a leased instrument for a period of time An instrument in the family Have it put in Good Playing Condition We want beginners to be successful
How do I get an instrument? There are two exceptions: Baritones are rented from the school (because of the size and cost of the instrument) for $100 per year. Percussionists have a $50 yearly user fee for school instruments, in addition to having their own instrument at home.
Acquiring an Instrument Rob Smith, Ward-Brodt Music Ward-Brodt will have representatives here on Tuesday, April 12 th, 4:00 8:00 PM You are free to go wherever you want to get an instrument; Waunakee Schools do business with Ward-Brodt because of the services they provide.
Summer Band Lessons Six weeks, from June 20 th to July 28 th Intermediate School Summer School is at the HIGH SCHOOL this year. Two lessons per week Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday Lessons are in the morning and last about an hour Demonstration Concert July 30 st High School PAC at 9:30 AM
Summer School Lessons and other morning classes Lessons can be taken after the other class times if transportation is available Students do not need to take other classes Bus transportation is available You must take a full morning if riding the bus Make-up lessons available
