Gutenberg had any kind of knowledge of the fact, that long before his invention printing with moveable type done in East-Asia. There are no documents or source-materials which give us reliable information regarding this matter. Study of Gutenberg The study of Gutenberg was performed by the Professor Fusel of Mainz University, and Benz directors of Gutenberg Museum and, in 1997 both of them participated in international symposium "International Symposium on the Printing History in East & West" of UNESCO sponsorship in Korea and asked each country for the save of the document inheritance toward the future through the UNESCO.
