The ideal solution to meet any requirement in terms of comfort, efficiency, quiet operation and application flexibility The FOCS / FOCS-CA range, which is now enhanced with the additional extra-silenced FOCS-XL version, is designed to promptly and effectively meet the most pressing comfort, energy efficiency, noise emission and space-saving requirements typical of modern applications. FOCS The FOCS units use twin-rotor screw compressors, imized for R134a refrigerant, and feature an unbeatable cost/performance ratio. The advanced control logic, based on water delivery temperature, results in extremely small deviations from the set-point, helping to assure high-level comfort. The series has been completed with the addition of the new extra silenced FOCS-XL version: the unit with the best noise level/efficiency combination currently on the market. Systematic attention to every last detail both at the engineering stage - especially in sizing the exchange surfaces - and at the production stage minimizing noise level without penalizing performance. FOCS-CA With full-load efficiency always above EER of 3.1 - the Eurovent Class A rating threshold - the FOCS-CA units feature extremely low running costs, which means the investment is imized, by considerably reducing the Total Life Cycle Cost (initial investment cost plus running and maintenance costs for the whole of the unit's service life). An inspired choice in a wide range of applications, especially where efficiency requirements, both at fulland part load, are particularly binding.

All of this comes with the added bonus of a particularly wide operating range and such ions as heat recovery and integration into variable-flow systems, which further broaden the field of application and the advantages offered by these units. Out ( C) Wide operating range The FOCS series provides full-load operation with an outdoor air temperature of up to 46 C, and even higher at part load. The accurate control logic ensures that cooling capacity perfectly matches the building requirements, with limited fluctuations in water delivery temperature. FOCS and FOCS-CA units are suitable for a whole host of different applications, from air conditioning to specific uses in process cooling and by adding glycol to the heat transfer fluid they can supply chilled water even at temperatures far below 0 C. -10 Heat recovery ion All units, except for sizes 1532--2632, with plate-type evaporators, and the FOCS-XL version, can be provided with partial or total recovery. These solutions allow hot water up to 55 C to be produced in total recovery mode. Heat recovery is an intelligent alternative to using an auxiliary boiler to produce hot water while the chiller is working, and means the FOCS-series units are in line with the strictest European energy-saving standards. Climaveneta's experience with these solutions assures an imal heat recovery management, with minimum fluctuations on the delivery water, both cold side and hot side.

These products are designed to meet efficiency, noise level and space-saving requirements consistently above expectations - even in the most challenging projects - thanks to: Extensive range of outputs from 134 to 1744 kw of cooling capacity and models, with plate or shell and tube type evaporator, with two different condenser coil geometries Optimized design for each series 3 functions: standard, partial heat recovery and total heat recovery 4 noise versions: standard, low-noise, super-low-noise and extra-low-noise 6 pump unit settings available: 2/4 poles, high/low head, fixed-speed or variable-speed Energy efficiency FOCS-series unit, especially those from the FOCS-CA series, feature excellent energy efficiency values at full load and part load. This result is achieved thanks to an extreme focus on the quality of the components aded and on their imal integration, which steered all the technological decisions at the engineering stage. The adion of exclusive evaporators with an asyetrical structure and the intelligent control of resources is among the features of these units, which imizes the heat exchange performance. The new FOCS-XL units are the result of systematic engineering aimed at reducing noise levels and give the best noise level/efficiency combination currently available on the market. Compatibility with VPF system (Variable Primary Flow) FOCS units with shell and tube type evaporators are designed to provide variableflow operation by ading variable speed pumps controlled by exclusive algorithms devised to make imal pump management possible based on the load required by the system without influencing the unit protection. The result is an energy saving in pump consumption ranging from 40% to 60% depending on the specific application.

Advanced control The FOCS units owe their advanced operating modes mainly to their electronic controllers. Each unit is actually fitted with a W3000 large controller, while the inclusion of the Manager 3000 device means a number of units can be managed in parallel, with an advanced level of control. Like all Climaveneta units, the FOCS can be integrated with a FWS 3000 supervision system. W3000 large: complete control The W3000large controller boasts advanced features that have been developed by Climaveneta based on experience gained in a range of different applications. The generously sized keypad and LCD display grant easy and secure access to the unit's settings with a multi-level, multilingual menu. Diagnostics comprises full alarm management, with alarm log and "black box" (via PC) features. Supervision is made possible by exploiting the Climaveneta devices or interfacing with the ModBus, Bacnet, Echelon LonTalk protocols. Up to 10 units can be managed through the remote keypad and operation prograing (4 standard days and 10 time bands). The temperature regulation's distinguishing trait is its continual adjustment of capacity based on water delivery temperature, with specific cooling circuit management logics, which have a beneficial effect on the unit's efficiency. Manager3000 central controller Manager3000 controls groups of hydronic units - up to 8 - based on criteria that enhance the reliability and energy efficiency of the system. The touch screen and multi-level menu make it easy and secure to use. Circuit temperatures and operating conditions are displayed both for the system and the units. The device integrates with the units and the different kinds of water circulation systems, dynamically imizing consumption, inrush currents and pump management by the prioritization of resources. Reliability is enhanced by diagnostics and serial interfacing. The WebManager ion means the device can be accessed via LAN, and thus managed online over the internet. This provides the opportunity of viewing a graphical representation of the logged data recorded by the device. FWS3000 Field Web Server Device for supervising Climaveneta units. Supervision takes place via a direct link with the computer or via LAN: hence this ion can also be managed through internet resources thanks to the built-in webserver and the availability of suitably defined graphical pages. Thus the resulting supervision does not entail installing any additional software on the computer and, moreover, employs the most coon types of browser; this means any networked computer can be used. Remote control and historical alarm log The unit controller can dialogue with the Climaveneta Service software: it is possible to perform pre-emptive and corrective measures offering therefore a superior and more effective service, thanks also to the ability to operate at both local- and remote levels. Furthermore the black box function (see above) records the operation variables detected before each alarm event, while the historical alarm log records up to 200 events: all this for imum diagnostics and maintenance of the unit.
