STANDARD FILTRATION SYSTEM Technical Specifications 1. Recirculation and delivery pump constantly re circulates water in storage tank and delivers water to point of use (POU). Has built in controls that protect pump from running in zero flow condition 2. Sediment filter five micron string wound filter the removes suspended solids from water 3. Carbon filter removes organics and oxidants from the water 4. Pressure gauges show the inlet and outlet pressures of the filter cartridges. Change the filters when there is a 10 psi increase in the difference between these two gauges. 5. Germicidal Ultraviolet Unit. the UV chamber allows filtered water to be exposed to high levels of ultraviolet (UV) light. UV treatment disinfects water and prevents buildup of bacteria. 6. Ozone injection. ozone gas is drawn into the tank recirculation stream. Ozone is a very strong oxidant and provides a residual disinfectant that keeps water in the tank free of any biological growth
