The and buttons are used to scroll down/up the menu. When moving around different levels within a menu system, the 2 bottom is always used to select an option, advancing to the next menu, and the 1 button is always used to exit a level, returning to a previous menu or exiting the menu system when in the main menu. 3. After selecting the function, or buttons are used to decrease / increase the values of the corresponding parameter. 4.OSD will be turned off if no any function key is pressed after displaying on screen for 15 sec (default value).and the time is changeable by selecting OSD Timeout item. 5. Power Button Lock The power button lock will be activated by pressing the front panel control buttons " 1 "+ " " for 10 seconds. Locking the power button means that the user won't be able to turn off the LCD while the power button is locked. If the user presses the power button while it is locked, a message will appear on the screen for 3 seconds showing "Power Button Locked". It also means that with the power button locked, the LCD would automatically turn back "On" when power is restored after a power failure. If the power button is not in the locked mode, then power should return to it's previous state when power is restored after a power failure. The power button lock will be deactivated by pressing the front panel control buttons " 1 "+ " " again for 10 seconds. 6. OSD Lock The OSD lock will be activated by pressing the front panel control buttons " 1 "+" " for 10 seconds. If the user then tries to access the OSD by pressing any of the buttons" 1 ", " ", " ", or " 2 ",a message will appear on the screen for 3 seconds showing "OSD Locked". 6.3.1. Defect Terminology The following descriptive terms are recognized: Dark Spots/Lines Bright Spots/Lines Polarizer Scratch Polarizer Dent Rubbing Line Newton Ring Mottling Dim Line Cross Lines Off Bright Dark Dot Spots or lines that appear dark in the display patterns are usually the result of contamination. Defects do not vary in size or intensity (contrast) when contrast voltage is varied. Contrast variation can be achieved through the use of varying gray shade patterns. Spots or lines that appear light in the display patterns. Defects do not varied in size or intensity (contrast) when contrast voltage is varied. Contrast variation can be achieved through the use of varying gray shade patterns. When the unit lights, lines appear light (white) with display patterns dark and do not vary in size. Physical damage to the polarizer that does not damage the glass. When the unit lights, spots appear light (white) with display patterns dark and do not vary in size. Physical damage to the polarizer that does not damage the glass. Horizontal or diagonal lines that appear gray with the display patterns dark and may have resulted from an out of control rubbing process on the polymer or waves on the BEEs or prism sheets. The rainbow effect caused by non-uniform cell thickness. When the unit lights, variation/non-uniformity (splotch) appears light (white) with the display and might varies in size. When the unit lights, line(s) in the minor (vertical) or major (horizontal) axis appear dim, but not completely on or off. When the unit lights, lines in both the minor and major axis do not appear. A sub-pixel (RGB dot) stuck off/on (electrical). The Bright Dot is defined as visible through 5% transmission ND FILTER. Page: 20
