Hotel Interface (continued) The hotel interface connector in the B&O television is a female 3,5mm mini jack. Data is transmitted at the end of the mini jack connector (TX pin 2) and received at the pin in the middle (RX pin 3). Ground is on pin 1. There isn t used any handshake connection. We support 3 different standards. RS232 TTL Open collector - High level is between -3 and -25 volts - Low level is between +3 and +25 volts - High level is 5 volts - Low level is 0 volts - High controlled by the receiver (pull up). - Low level is 0 volts (open collector). The boot speed is 19.2 k baud but the speed can dynamically be changed up to 115 k baud. On all 3 serial channels we are using the ATI protocol as default, which gives a high security level. Information on this protocol can be found in a separate document.
