1. Stage Requirements 14m x 9m x 7m (Width x Depth x Height) Set The set contains Braun dance carpets, a brail into three parts mounted on a curve, middle moving up and down. Behind the middle part sits a white projection screen, 4500mm wide in 16:9 format (projection screen provided by the precenter). Props Nine office chairs, a flip chart, a hunting tower and tree light tube fixtures. Blackout The Presenter should be able to provide a perfect blackout in the venue. Rehearsal Studio The Company requires one suitable rehearsal studio for warm up and rehearsals with a studio sized sound system for CD/MP3/Computer playback. The floor in the studio should be regular sprung dance floor, covered with professional dance carpet and ballet bars. This area should either be connected to or as close as possible, to the venue and available to The Company during the whole period. The temperature must be minimum 23 degrees C. Dressing Rooms The Company requires dressing rooms for 10 dancers, 1 dressing room for the Rehearsal director/dancer, (5 female, 6 male), 1 dressing room for the Artistic Director, and 1 room with a table for the Dresser, 1 room with mirrors and water for the Make-up Artist, 1 room for the technical staff. Technical Office The Company requires the use of a lockable office, as close to the stage as possible. Intercom The Presenter is to provide an intercom system connecting stage personnel as well as the control room.
Wardrobe Facilities: The Wardrobe must be equipped with a washing machine, a dryer, a washstand for hand wash, an iron, an ironing board, sewing machine The Company must have access to Wardrobe Facilities at all times. Copy rights The Presenter is to take necessary precautions to ensure that no part of the performance is recorded either visually or aurally without the written consent of the Artistic Director. Photography is not allowed during the performance. Security The Presenter shall protect and secure all company equipment and belongings, whilst The Company has access to the facility. Catering The Company requires bottled still water for dancers and crew on stage and in the studio. If there is no cafeteria or canteen facilities open in the house the presenter is to provide coffee, tea, sandwiches and fruit during set up/strike down. Transport If the walking distance is more than 10 minutes between the hotel and the theatre the Promoter is responsible for transportation and for payment of transportation. 2. Stage Stage Floor The floor must have a sprung floor construction. Masking The Presenter is to provide black velvet to make the stage area into a black box. Set Up Equipment The Presenter is to provide a stage lift, Genie or equivalent, with a working height of at least 6m. Stage Crew 1 stage/ technical manager, 2 stage hands for unloading, set up/strike down and loading of truck. 1 stage/ technical manager during performance and pre and post performance technical work. 3. 3 pc footlights P16 120cm long type Thomas 5 pc footlight type Spectra Connect A projector, 10000 Ansi lumens, projected from the audience and with a picture size that covers the projection screen. Signal cable from the projector to the light control, DVI or VGA. We bring our own lighting board, and need to connect this to The Presenter s dimmer system. Please inform us as soon as possible if The Presenter s dimmer system is not DMX controlled or if you foresee any problems in this regard. Lighting Crew 2 lighting technicians for set up/strike down/focusing /performance. 1 lighting technician with good knowledge of patch, dimmers etc, stationed at the control room for set up and performance. 4. Sound PA-System A high quality PA-system is required. The system must be capable of delivering a clean and undistorted sound, with a uniform coverage of the venue, including balconies or similar seating. It must have an effective frequency response from 25 Hz to 20 khz at sound levels reaching approx. 100 db A. The system must be totally free of hum and noise. The PA-system should be set up and tested before the dance company arrives. All microphone lines and monitors should be laid out and tested. Monitor 2 speakers in front of the stage, 2 separate auxiliary send. Preferred system: same brand as PA-system Front of House A minimum 12 channel desk with 4 band fully parametric equaliser. FX 1 Reverb 31 band graphic equaliser inserted on all outputs e.g. LR, Centre cluster, Front fills Monitor, etc. 2 CD-players with auto cue and very good quality (Spare). The Company Sound Engineer runs the show from hard disc or own CD players. 1 Talkback microphone. Microphone Two microphones for vocals. One DI box for Keyboard Sound Crew 1 Sound technician, familiar with the system, for set up/sound check/performance. 5. Medical The Company will require the names and telephone numbers of nearby hospitals. The Company requires ice for injuries.
6. Parking The Presenter is to provide a safe and guarded parking space for a truck within a reasonable distance of the venue. The truck is 6m long, 3,5m high and weight approximate 3,5 tons. 7.
