SECOND IMPORTANT NOTE All students must prepare two arias or art songs, one in Italian and one in French from memory, unless you would like to be considered for specific roles, in which case, you should prepare the specific repertoire below. These two arias/art songs will be sufficient to be considered for both productions, and you will be willing to accept whichever role you are assigned to sing, even if you applied for a specific role. Unless indicated on your audition form, you will be considered for both productions. In the specific case of Jacques Offenbach s Orphée aux enfers (Orpheus in The Underworld), we have uploaded the requested excerpts with the version we shall be doing (1858) for your convenience. If you happen to be cast in a specific role, then you will have to purchase your own piano/vocal score. Dance call backs for Orphée will be held on Wednesday, September 4 from 7:15 to 10:00 p.m. following the third slot of casting auditions. Thank you.
