Seismic / accelerometric digitizer 24-96 channels - 24 bit
DESCRIPTION Seismic/accelerometric digitizer equipped with 24-48-72-96 embedded channels for active and passive seismic surveys, dynamic investigations and buildings dynamic studies. X820S basic configuration integrates 24 channels and can be expanded with 24 channels modules, without external boxes, up to maximum 96 integrated channels. Acquisition system represents enhancement of consolidated recording technology AD 24 Bit / S.S.C. (Single Sampler Converter) developed by MAE, which includes adoption of a single analogic/digital converter with high resolution dedicated for each input channel. S.S.C. design with dedicated converter for each single channel allows to record every trace with maximum resolution, improving reliability of each acquisition. Instrument is equipped with PC, 10 integrated monitor and Windows 10 operative system. Management of all choices referring to investigation, recording settings, execution and visualization of recorded data is realized and an easy and intuitive manner through operative system installed on the instrument. High protection case (IP67) and frontal panel, entirely made of high thickness aluminum, allow a comfortable and safety use even in bad weather conditions. X820S represents ideal solution for every kind of seismic survey of active and passive typology, moreover, high dynamic range and care in project make instrument particularly ideal also for Non Destructive Tests, especially for dynamic tests on buildings, being able to record signals coming from both velocity and acceleration sensors. Above mentioned features, together with wide range of available accessories which can be connected to X820S, make instrument versatile and capable to perform all seismic surveys, from surface investigations such as refraction, reflection (P and S waves), M.A.S.W., Re.Mi., E.S.A.C., bore-hole such as Down Hole and Cross Hole, stand-alone passive seismic of H.V.S.R. typology and vibration monitoring. With particular regards to seismic survey methodologies, 24 channels module allows the adoption of a single cable 24 takeouts that, together with integrated battery pack, allows to reduce number of accessories to bring on site at every survey. Multiple tools of monitoring and system check complete seismograph kit with many analysis instruments and data check, which goes from background noise analysis, traces filtering and different visualization options of recorded seismograms, available to user for later processing. 2

Stack operations (iteration) of sum and difference on each channel allow to increase signal / noise ratio, making easier to identify wave phase and specific filtering operations before and after recording. Each channel can be visualized independently and on each trace it is possible to perform frequency analysis (FFT), in order to include main frequencies in real time. It is also possible to program recording geometry on field to facilitate later processing. X820S measurement settings 6
In passive seismic mode it is possible to select recording duration and a waiting time before recording start; a progressive bar is visualized, to indicate recording status.
