Singlemode Patch Cords and Pigtails TECHNICAL DATA Description ADC KRONE offers a wide array of singlemode fibre optic patch cords, featuring Riser and LSZH cables. ADC KRONE s singlemode connectors are available with either ultra physical contact (UPC) or angled physical contact (APC) polish. Connector types may be combined to produce hybrid patch cords. All patch cords are tested to ensure that the highest quality standards are met. Features 100% optically tested Visual inspection of all features Insertion loss and return loss values certified and sent with every patch cord Factory installed connectorisation Manufactured using advanced techniques Cable types Low smoke zero halogen (LSZH or LS0H) is a type of cable jacketing made of polypropylene that emits limited smoke and no halogens when exposed to fire or strong heat. They do not produce a dangerous gas/acid combination in case of fire. ADC KRONE LSZH cables comply with the flammability specifications outlined in IEC 60332-3, IEC 61034 und IEC 60754-1/2. Riser cables are made from flame-retardant material intended for use in riser shafts without the use of conduit. This cable material will prevent the spread of fire from floor to floor. ADC KRONE uses riser cables meet UL Flammability standards 1666 OFNR. Fiber types The ADC KRONE s standard singlemode fiber is according to G.652.D. The fiber for reduced bend radius (RBR) application corresponds to G.657.A+B. www.adckrone.com Technical Assistance Centre: +32 2 712 6542 euro.tac@adckrone.com Freephone (UK only): 0800 960236

Singlemode Patch Cords and Pigtails Connector Types SC Can be arranged in rows with no space between the adapters: provides high density termination Push-pull locking assures high tensile strength and ease of use LC Through use of a mini-ferrule, this connector is only half the size of an SC connector, providing even greater termination density Snap-action locking assures high tensile strength and ease of use Duplex patch cords feature a snap-on clip making later re-positioning possible LX.5 Half the size of SC connectors Hinged self-actuating shutters on both the connector and adapter offer dust protection and laser-safety For singlemode and multimode applications Invented and patented by ADC E2000 Can be arranged in rows with no space between the adapters to provide high density termination Push-pull locking assures high tensile strength and ease of use Integrated laser and dust protection ST Bayonet locking mechanism makes it quick and easy to use FC Stable and reliable contact due to thread locking Often used with test equipment 2
