Similar results are expected from customer certification of boards using the AMIS 53050 (AMIS p/n 20312 001) or AMIS 53051 (AMIS p/n 20312 002) as the silicon process, RF circuits and packaging are all the same. ADDITIONAL CONDUCTED MEASUREMENTS Additional Conducted Measurements The modulation bandwidth according to clause 8.7 of EN 300 220, part 1, was measured at full output power (Register 18 at 7Fh) with PRBS FSK modulation with 19.2 kbit/s and a frequency deviation of 19.2 kbit/s. Figure 4. Output Spectrum of the Modulation Bandwidth Measurement The measured modulation bandwidth is 186 khz. The reference design can therefore be used in all the proposed frequency bands g1 (868.000 868.600 MHz), g2 (868.7 869.2 MHz) and g4 (869.7 870 MHz). Maximum Usable Sensitivity The sensitivity according to clause 9.1 of EN 300 220 was measured with a data rate of 19.2 kbit/s and a frequency deviation of 19.2 khz. The sensitivity for a BER < 10 2 is 98 dbm. Receiver Blocking The receiver blocking according to clause 9.4 of EN 300 220 was measured with a data rate of 19.2 kbit/s and a frequency deviation of 19.2 khz. The level of the signal was increased to 95 dbm, which is 3 db above the sensitivity threshold.
