Press release Paris, 29 th September 2015 Qobuz: Official Partner SOUND & IMAGE Festival 2015 16th 18th October 2015 at Novotel Paris, Tour Eiffel For the sixth consecutive year, Qobuz will be present at the SOUND & IMAGE FESTIVAL. This year, for the prestigious audio-video event France will serve as the host nation. The Qobuz stand is located on Level 3, opposite the entrance at the top of the escalators. THE EXHIBITION OF JEAN-BAPTISTE MILLOT, a tribute to French Masters of Sound Qobuz joins the Festival s honouring of the French sector of sound. On this occasion, Qobuz and the Festival present an exhibition by the photographer Jean-Baptiste Millot. This photo exhibition is a tribute to those who have contributed to the French tradition of sound, and to those who are its future. It includes portraits of such personalities as Gerard Cabasse (Cabasse), Quentin Sannié (Devialet), Henri Seydoux (Parrot), Thierry Comte (Athom), Alain Molinier (Awox) and many others (see our list below). The exhibition is provided under the patronage of Mrs. Axelle Lemaire, Secretary of State, and Minister for Economy, Industry, and Digital Matters. The exhibition "A Tribute to French Masters of Sound" will also be presented through Qobuz from the 15th September 2015, with a new portrait offered every day at the following address: blogsv2.qobuz.com/le-son-francais/, and on the homepage of our website www.qobuz.com.
An Evening of Jazz with Qobuz @ the SOUND & IMAGE FESTIVAL An evening of Jazz will be organized by Qobuz during the Festival at the Novotel Bar, Tour Eiffel, Paris, on Saturday 17th October 2015 from 20:00. Three live sets will take place, with the performers soon to be announced. The official Hi-Res album of the SOUND & IMAGE FESTIVAL will be offered to attendees At the Qobuz stand, visitors will be offered a Hi-Res album consisting of 9 tracks, in order to experience music in the highest quality.
