Preliminary round selection from over 100 recordings submitted by college, university and conservatory trumpet studios throughout the country. Competition held at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. March 2016 Competition Selection, National Trumpet Competition, Luther College Trumpet Ensemble Ensemble selected to compete at Semi-Final Round of Live Competition Preliminary round selection from over 80 recordings submitted by college, university and conservatory trumpet studios throughout the country. Competition held at Metropolitan State University, Denver, CO. March 2017 Trumpet Ensemble Composition Commission, Luther College Homage, composed by Dr. Michael D Ambrosio, Prof. of Theory and Composition at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky Published by Triplo Press, 2015 Composition is a tribute to Adolf Herseth, principal trumpeter with the Chicago Symphony for 54 years and Luther College alumnus. Dr. D Ambrosio attended the recital and introduced the piece. He performed a composer s colloquium with Dr. Brooke Joyce s composition class that morning. Performed on Studio Recruiting/Performance, Oct. 2014 Luther College recording is now used as demonstration video for Triplo Press website.
