March 2017 Trumpet Ensemble Composition Commission, Luther College Homage, composed by Dr. Michael D Ambrosio, Prof. of Theory and Composition at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky Published by Triplo Press, 2015 Composition is a tribute to Adolf Herseth, principal trumpeter with the Chicago Symphony for 54 years and Luther College alumnus. Dr. D Ambrosio attended the recital and introduced the piece. He performed a composer s colloquium with Dr. Brooke Joyce s composition class that morning.
