Evaluate music from a broad-based knowledge of musical style, music literature, music history, and music theory. knowledge and understanding of the characteristics of various types of choral ensembles, including unison, two-part, SATB, SAB, TTBB, and SSAA. The successful student will therefore complete brief analysis assignments in which he/she will appropriately identify characteristics of various types of choral ensembles. Demonstrate technical fluency, expressiveness, and professionalism in musical performance. skill in arranging and adapting music for various choral ensembles. Demonstrate the gifts and skills essential to effective local church leadership, especially the effective communication of Biblical truth. the ability to create an original SATB arrangement for use in a worship service.
