WELCOME As always, we aim to provide variety and excitement in our Season of performances. There is circus, cabaret, ballet, drama, concerts and musicals; featuring some of the best touring productions and companies from around the country. We are delighted to welcome Hallowed Ground, a moving portrayal of female nurses and doctors in war, from the Gallipoli campaign to the dusty plains of Afghanistan as well as Spencer, a brand new Australian play described as family comic drama at its finest. We continue our Cabaret series this year where we transform Eastbank into a stylish and colourful setting for shows such as Lady Beatle, featuring songs of the Beatles with a bit of a twist, performed by stage and screen star Naomi Price. These are just a few of the shows in our Season so please take a moment to look through this brochure and see what else is in store for you. Pecan Summer, written and composed by Yorta Yorta soprano Deborah Cheetham AO, tells the dramatic story of the Walk-Off from Cummeragunja Station on the NSW side of the Dhungala (Murray River) on 4th February 1939. Dhungala Children s Choir celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2019 and funds raised from ticket sales will support their first overseas performance tour!

Together they share moments of hope and humour that punctuates the otherwise harrowing task of caring for soldiers in a war zone.

In 2017, Kenny won the Silver medal at the prestigious Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, USA and has already performed as Guest Soloist with the Royal Philharmonic, Sydney Symphony, Minnesota and Seatle Orchestras amongst others. About to meet the younger son Spencer he never knew he had, Scott and the family have returned home to help mark the occasion. COMMUNITY ARTS GRANTS Greater Shepparton City Council is pleased to offer funding for projects which build or strengthen Greater Shepparton communities through its Community Arts Grant. Grants of between $500 and $2500 are available for projects. Providing funding to community groups for these festivals and events gives Council the opportunity to enhance the community spirit and encourage participation across all sectors of the community. These grants aim to support and engage the community by embracing cultural harmony and diversity. There are two rounds available each financial year. OUR VENUES RIVERLINKS EASTBANK 70 Welsford Street, Shepparton Riverlinks Eastbank comprises Eastbank Auditorium, recital spaces, function rooms and Eastbank Cafe. Parking: The best off-street parking is on the Goulburn River side of Eastbank, accessed from Marungi Street. The river side or Marungi Street door is open for all performances and delivers patrons directly to the Riverlinks Box Office. RIVERLINKS WESTSIDE Corner Homewood Drive & Echuca Road, Mooroopna Riverlinks WestSide is owned by Mooroopna Secondary College and managed by Riverlinks for Greater Shepparton City Council. Parking: The best parking can be found off Homewood Drive, to the rear of WestSide. There is also easy street parking on Echuca Road opposite the theatre. HOW TO BOOK Online You can book online at any time, night or day, for any Riverlinks shows. Go to riverlinksvenues.com.au for show details and follow the link to purchase tickets. You are able to select your preferred seats at the time of booking and tickets can be posted to you for a small fee. You can also print your own tickets from home for shows with allocated seating. In Person Come in and see the friendly staff between 10am and 5pm Monday to Friday. The Riverlinks Box Office is located at Riverlinks Eastbank, 70 Welsford Street Shepparton. The Box Office is also open at the venues 45 minutes prior to show times. By Phone Call 03 5832 9511 during opening hours. Credit Card payments can be made by phone. Payment All tickets must be paid for at the time of booking. Riverlinks Members may hold tickets on reserve for up to a week. Groups may hold reservations for up to two weeks. Group tickets must be paid for in one transaction. Customer Information Concessions Pensioners, seniors card holders, unemployed and students all qualify for reduced ticket prices on selected performances. Evidence of qualification for the discount is required when making the booking. GST All ticket prices include GST and ticket fees unless otherwise stated. Refund Policy Refunds are available up to 24 hours prior to the performance. An administration fee of $4.90 will be charged per ticket. Access All Abilities Riverlinks aims to cater for all and supports the Companion and Carer Card programs. Wheelchair access is available at both venues (Row A only). A hearing-aid induction loop is also available at the Riverlinks Eastbank.
