Lone Star College - Tomball requires there be one wrangler for every seven children. Please note: Rental start time must be at least one hour before show start time, allowing for 30 minutes minimum set-up time and 30 minutes house open before show start time. Rental end time must be at least 30 minutes after show end time, allowing 15 minutes for audience and performers to vacate the premises and 15 minutes to clean the lobby and dressing room areas. Page 4 of 6 Stage Operation For your event, a minimum of a sound technician and a lighting technician provided by Lone Star College Tomball are required. For an additional cost, a follow spot operator and/or stage manager are also available. One technician cannot be assigned to two different operating duties. Note: The use of any props with an open flame will not be permitted under any circumstances. Conditions of Usage Lone Star College - Tomball takes a great deal of pride in its facility and its aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. LSC- Tomball asks that the users offer the same respect, in the uses of the College s facility, to maintain its beauty and longevity. Usage of the theatre includes, and is restricted to the green room, two (2) dressing rooms, the lobby, and the lobby restrooms. Theatre must be booked in advance. Please remember, all previous debts must be paid before the theatre is available for use. Ample time must be given for checks to be processed. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on campus. Lone Star College-Tomball is a smoke-free environment.
Page 5 of 6 House Food or drink may be enjoyed in the lobby; however, it is not allowed in the house or on stage. Candles, glitter or any other substance that may stain or damage the carpet are NOT allowed in the theatre house. The Performing Arts Center has 391 permanent seats with a house capacity of 425 when box seating is added. Although it appears there may be more room, no more than 425 people are allowed in the theatre at one time, due to fire code restrictions. Sitting in the aisles or in additional chairs at the back of the house is not permitted. That space is a walkway to a fire exit. Stage All lighting and technical needs must be staffed by Lone Star College Tomball personnel. No pyrotechnics of any kind (flashpots/powder/paper, confetti launchers) will be allowed. Only dry ice foggers will be allowed. LSC-Tomball has very sensitive chemical alarms located in its air intakes; chemical foggers/hazers will activate them. When activated, LSC-Tomball s policy is to evacuate the entire building. All special effects must be a solid substance, not liquid. Nothing can be fastened to the stage floor. Dance Companies Only dance companies with a Marley dance floor will be allowed to perform on stage. Dance companies, not LSC- Tomball employees, are responsible for the installation and removal of the dance floor. Additionally, rosin is not permitted. Promotions Marketing, advertising and publicity is the sole responsibility of the Renter group. Please Note Lone Star College - Tomball is an educational facility and its class lectures, class performances and internal events will supersede any previous commitments and contracts with client (external sources). Lone Star College-Tomball has the right to refuse service or facility usage to any client for any reason. Lone Star College-Tomball may be cancel your reservation at any time with or without full refund to the client I have read and understood the Conditions of usage. All completed documents and payment must be received before date is reserved for client. If non-profit, documentation must also be provided.
If approved, the Facility Use Agreement must be completed and signed by the appropriate LSC-Tomball designee. Insurance may be required as stated in the LSCS Facility Use Agreement guidelines.
