Author Names Volume 6, Issue,1, 2016 2 Title of Your Paper (NTR Size 16 font) This brief example illustrates the general format for a single experiment research article in APA style. For complete details on paper preparation refer to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6 th edition (2010) [APA Publication Manual]. For other paper formats (meta-analyses, case studies, literature reviews and other possible types of publications commonly found in the field of Education), please consult the APA Publication Manual for information on formatting. All submitted articles are subject to review for potential plagiarism using Turnitin or Grammarly. We encourage authors to conduct this review themselves. If necessary, we will submit a permission request to obtain access to a previously submitted article. Write your article using an active, not passive voice. Use the Spell and Grammar checker in Microsoft Word, Grammarly, or other editorial review program, to identify passive voice wording and phrases and rewrite them in an active voice. Set the Spell and Grammar checker in Microsoft Word to detect all grammar and style items listed (to access the settings go to File > Options > Proofing > Grammar (or Grammar and Style) > Settings and check all items, set spacing between sentences to two spaces). Use the Show/Hide ( ) tool in Microsoft Word and increase the manuscript to View it at 130-150% normal size to visualize possible errors more easily. Then work on your manuscript until you resolve these issues.

Author Names Volume 6, Issue,1, 2016 3 Once resolved consider submitting the manuscript. A well-prepared manuscript is more likely to gain acceptance than a poorly prepared manuscript. Please do not send first drafts of manuscripts take the time to revise and rewrite the manuscript as necessary so as to reduce grammar, style, and APA formatting and referencing issues. Also, avoid the use of jargon, and be conscientious of appropriate gender and the preferred designations for a variety of different groups. Begin the text of the article by indenting one tab (.5 ) from the left hand margin. Type your paper using New Times Roman font, size 12. Please enter two spaces after a period that ends a sentence. Use true double spaced line separation when typing. Do not add a space between paragraphs of the same style (for Microsoft Word go to Page Layout, Spacing and check the box Don t add space between paragraphs of the same style. ). Use a left page alignment. Do not center or justify the text. The left-and right-page margins are 1 (top and bottom margins are 1.0 ). The header on the page should be positioned.5 from the top, and any information contained in the footer should be.5 from the bottom of the page. Authors are responsible for ensuring compliance with APA publication requirements for manuscript preparation.
