WEDNESDAYS AT WINDROWS: Dr. Karlfried Froehlich presents Celebrating the Reformation After 500 Years. On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther published his 95 Theses against the abuse of indulgences. This year Christian churches all over the world are celebrating this date as a symbol of the start of the Protestant Reformation which profoundly changed the face of Christianity over the centuries. While Protestantism is alive in many forms today, visiting its Lutheran beginnings in the small geographical setting of Luther s life opens up surprising vistas of historic memories lovingly and creatively preserved by many German cities. Take a look at some of them, such as Wittenberg, Eisleben, Eisenach, Worms, and the Wartburg with Dr. Karlfried Froehlich. Join us on Wednesday, April 5th, from 3:00pm-4:00pm in the Woodrow Wilson Gallery. TRADITIONAL SEDER: All Windrows residents are invited to participate in a Passover Seder on Tuesday, April 11 th (the second night of Passover). There is space for up to 80 residents, we unfortunately cannot accommodate outside guests. Entry to the Nassau Room for this event starts at 5:00 p.m. The Seder will begin at 5:30. Please contact Paula Fishman at 356-0677 or p.fishman@att.net. WEDNESDAYS AT WINDROWS: Poetry Day Celebration. April is National Poetry Month.
