Philip, a publisher of children's books, agrees to let his business partner, Henry Lodge, borrow his flat to "entertain" his latest girlfriend. At the same time, Joanna is persuaded by Henry s wife, Linda, to let her borrow the flat so she can entertain her lover. What nobody knows is the interior designer decorating the flat decided this was the night he and the au pair girl would try out the new round bed! When everyone converges on the flat, expecting to find it empty, chaos and confusion ensue. Congratulations to our cast of Move Over, Mrs. Markham Joanna Markham: Margo Walters Alistair Spenlow: Shane Lynn Sylvie: Mariana Ramierz-Franco Linda Lodge: Sandy Kirchinger Philip Markham: Russell M. Gallas Henry Lodge: Jason Craner Miss Olive Harriet Smythe: Anna Cormier Miss Wilkenson: Christine Randall/Caroline Monahan Directed by Deborah Ozga-Ruth & Assisted by Brian M Everitt, this cast will be ready to entertain you starting February 4, 2016.

HCT Civic Connection The Best Christmas Pageant Ever The Best Christmas Pageant Ever opened November 27 to a sell out weekend! Sales were quick for the popular Christmas show and many were left out without a seat to see the holiday favorite. Congratulations to the executive team of Laurie Van Ark (director), Beth Coats (assistant director) and Liz Barveld (producer) on a wonderful show!!! 2

An Evening of Great Food and Entertainment! David Wilson of Zeeland s Generational Wealth loves supporting the local arts! Since 2008, his firm, who specializes in customizing asset management and investment strategies, has been hosting an evening of fabulous cuisine and entertainment for their clientele. The group begin their evening with dinner at Alpenrose and end with a show at the theatre. With all seats held for their clientele, it provides a fun time for all. In 2014, due to the popularity of their event with their clients, the group began renting the theatre for not one but two shows. In order to not short our other patrons, the HCT Board of Directors added an additional show. The cast and crew at HCT loves having them (and particularly like the cookies that Mrs. Wilson makes!) All of our shows are available for a full theatre rental. Year End Donations For 56 years, Holland Civic Theatre has been at the center of artistic preservation in our community. Live theatre does much more than entertain. For the audience, it inspires and provokes meaningful dialogue about life and provides a much-appreciated respite. For the actors and volunteers, it encourages creativity, teamwork and the ability to give something beautiful to society. For our children and youth, it builds confidence, character and a way for even the youngest members of our community to make meaningful contributions to the greater good. Tickets sales are one way that we keep our theatre alive. They keep our lights on and heat in our building. It provides for scripts and set and paint. It pays our mortgage. As you look around our theatre, there are many things that need improvement. New windows, flooring and the roof just to name a few. These capital improvements can only be done by the generous support of our greater theatre community. You! Make your gift today. The arts are part of the very fabric of our community. Your support is vital to artistic survival. Consider a tax deductible gift this holiday season. It s simple: David Wilson and The Herdmans Write a check and mail it to HCT at 50 W 9th Street, Holland MI 49423 Make a gift through our website: www.hollandcivictheatre.org Save the date!!! February 26, 2016 Silent Auction to benefit Holland Civic Theatre Doors open at 6:00, bidding starts at 6:30pm. Wonderful hors d oeuvers, wine and live music accompany the evening. THANK YOU!!! Kids Camp Our 3rd Kids Camp will be on Saturday December 19. We invite kids, both members and not, to come play and learn at the theatre! We will be playing theatre games, dressing up in costumes, making Christmas crafts and other Christmas fun! Parents, drop the kids off at 3pm and, for the low cost of $5 per child, and enjoy some time alone! Our program will end at 6pm. Kids should be potty-trained to participate in the events. So often at the theatre we get to work on great shows: memorizing lines, building sets, painting, sewing and dancing! So let's have more fun at the theatre and PLAY! Registration Forms will be available online or on the night of the event. Please check our webpage at www.hollandcivictheatre.org for updated information and registration forms. Parade of Lights The weather was perfect for this years Parade of Lights in Holland. Santa loved our float!! Come Shake Something! Following the enjoyment we had with getting up and moving this summer, our belly dance instructors have resumed classes! Come learn about this ancient tribal dance style and all the benefits that come with it! Sundays at and Tuesdays at, we'll be encouraging you to#justshakesomething and have fun with Lisa Marie and Angel. The class can be attended on a drop in basis and has a suggested donation of $5 per person with all proceeds going to benefit HCT! As an added bonus, HCT will be hosting a performance March 5th for those interested in showing off their moves. Performing is optional and is not required in order to participate in classes. Open to all ages and levels of ability, students will learn basic choreography and body undulation/isolation used in traditional bellydance. The dance style can be adapted to any level of mobility and fitness! Participants are encouraged to bring a towel and water, though water bottles will be available to purchase at the theatre! Dress comfortably for movement and jingles will be provided for your enjoyment! Liz & Lynda our float builders Ed, our excellent driver!! 4
