Note: IF THE PURCHASER FAILS TO PROVIDE THE MINIMUM EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS AS AGREED HEREIN, THE ARTIST WILL NOT PERFORM AT THE EVENT AND THE TOTAL BALANCE DUE WILL BE PAID TO THE ARTIST ON DEMAND OR THE PURCHASER MAY PAY A $200.00 FINE PER VIOLATION OF THE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS AND THE ARTIST WILL CONTINUE HIS PERFORMANCE IF POSSIBLE Additional Rider and booth setup instructions 1. The DJ Booth must be equipped with at least two 15 format monitors in good working order in close proximity to the booth. Artist must have control of monitor volume. 2. All units noted above must have the proper wiring and in perfect working condition. 3. (Monitors must be connected to monitor level control on DJ mixer, at ear level, and positioned facing away from the dance floor. 4. NO VOCAL MICROPHONES are to be in the DJ MONITORS). 5. Sturdy DJ booth with equipment about waist high. 6. Artist + their personnel shall maintain 100% control of the production and presentation of the performance. 7. No recordings AT ALL shall be permitted. It is understood that in the event that the Purchaser or a third party wish to record any part of the Artist s performance in any audio, visual or audio-visual media whatsoever then this may only take place with the written consent of the Artist or their Agent. In the event of such recording, then the rights to such recordings shall be owned solely and exclusively by the Artist. Please note that this includes Internet broadcast /streaming/archiving etc. In the event that the Artist discover before, during or after a performance that an unauthorized recording is being made, the Artist may cease to continue rendering any further performance and shall be entitled to terminate this agreement without prejudice to any other rights the Artist may have. The Purchaser shall provide at least one stagehand to be available for load-in +load-out, during the performance.
The Purchaser shall provide parking space adequate for one large van in close proximity to the stage door (if applicable). Security The well being of Artist and the Artist s equipment is the promoter s responsibility. When Artist is not present promoter is responsible for the security of the equipment and assigning security guards to prevent theft, tampering, and unauthorized persons on stage and in the artist areas. Sound check A sound check is not always necessary if the show has been advanced and cleared, however, in situations where clarification is necessary Artist shall receive a minimum of thirty (30) minutes free of all disturbances onstage for the purpose of a sound check before the doors open. Hospitality The following must be available to the artist, free of charge. Items will be given to artist upon arrival at hotel for club shows enclosed in a sturdy bag or backpack for transport to venue location. For festival gigs, they should be in artist s trailer on site. A] Nourishing meals for duration of stay for $40 per diem (cash out) B] 1x Bottle of Grey Goose, 6x Cans of 7UP or Sprite and full access to bar at venue for beer, wine, and liquor w/ mixers. At the venue one person will be assigned to make sure Artist remains comfortable and hydrated. C] 4x Bottles of non-carbonated bottled water D] 2x Energy Drink E] 1x Beef Jerky or 1x Trail Mix (Hot pizza available after festivals) F] 1x Fresh Mixed Fruit G] 2x Clean Towels during performance H] 10 (ten) complimentary tickets or guest list spots for the event. If Agent is present or anyone employed by Cyber Groove or Artist's handlers is present All Access passes will be issued for that person and one (1) guest. I] Quiet & private area (green room) at the venue will be made available for the Artists before and after performance. Travel Agent will, using a reputable travel company, arrange all travel. Confirmations of all travel arrangements (including names and contact details of Artist) must be sent to the Purchaser at least fourteen (14) days before the date of the event. Also the gig information sheet provided by the Agent to the Purchaser should be filled out and sent to the Purchaser twenty one (21) days before the date of the event. The Purchaser has a
week to fill out this gig information sheet to its completion to meet the fourteen (14) day deadline. If the offer is in the structure of performance fee + flight, the Purchaser will provide the capital, as soon as possible, to book a round trip or one-way airfare, a direct flight (1 stop minimum which must be approved by Agent and Artist). All baggage (receipts will be provided by Artist) and extra seating fees (invoice will be issued by Agency) will be covered by Purchaser. Road Travel In the event that the Artist is driving to the performance, the Purchaser shall also provide parking for one (1) vehicle in close proximity to the venue. Purchaser shall provide Artist compensation for gas, parking, and tolls to and from the event. This compensation shall be given prior to the event as part of the deposit to be paid to Agent. Ground Transportation The Purchaser will provide ground transportation to and from the airport, hotel, and venue. The Artist must be collected promptly from the airport and taken straight to the hotel. The driver must be completely flexible to Artist's schedule. Additionally, the driver must present Artist with one (1) copy of the final engagement flyer upon pick-up from airport. If Artist is waiting for more than thirty (30) minutes Artist will get a taxi or car service to the hotel, and will expect the money reimbursed to the Artist immediately. After performance Artist must be returned to the hotel. On the day of the Artist departure, Artist must be returned safely to the airport in plenty of time for their departure. 2 hours for domestic flights and 3 hours for international travel. Do look up airline rules for specific policies. If the Artist misses their flight due to the timeliness of the Purchaser or appointed driver, Purchaser must purchase the next flight to the Artist s next destination, no exceptions. Please note that all drivers appointed by the Purchaser should be included in the itinerary and should be capable to operate a motor vehicle (must be sober, with a valid license, and without any warrants).
Accommodations Agent will invoice Purchaser the amount of Agent s preferred hotel or of the approved choice selected by Purchaser. Please send hotel information to Agent for approval at the same time contract is returned. 1 (one) non-smoking hotel room for 1 (one) nights, with a minimum four-star (4) rating, and must also include the facility for WI-FI and late checkouts to be made when travel arrangements do not require departure from the hotel at a standard check out time. Late check out and WI-FI will be at no extra cost to the Artist. The hotel shall be within 5 to 10 miles of the event venue and must be close to restaurants and other businesses. Again, all bookings of hotels must be approved prior to the booking of them, especially Airport hotels. It is likely that only one (1) night of hotel accommodations will be required, however, we may need two (2) nights as a precaution, in the event that Artist s travel schedule requires an extra night or if you are the first date on the international artist s tour. Agent will discuss this with Purchaser at time of flight bookings so do plan accordingly. If Purchaser has exclusive access (i.e., corporate rate / block of rooms reserved) to a given hotel that is approved by Agent then Purchaser may purchase the room for the amount of days / nights requested by Agent (this must be agreed to by both Agent and Artist). This hotel room must be booked under the name of Artist and paid for in full prior to Artist s arrival. If you booked through the hotel directly and you did not submit a credit card authorization form then chances are, the room is not paid for in full. Warranties and Representations Purchaser must ensure that Artist performs on the same stage as all other like genre Artists at the event. In the case that other performers within the Artist genres are playing on different stages, Purchaser must ensure that Artist performs on the largest main stage. A representative of the Purchaser capable of making any decisions pertaining to this engagement must be present at the place of performance from the time of Artist s load-in through the time of their load-out. This representative must have copies of this entire agreement together with any + all information pertaining to this engagement in his/her possession. This representative will also be responsible for the Artist's comfort during this time as well (refreshments/equipment related issues etc).
Purchaser is requested to use the Artist's logos and Label's logos in addition to the Cyber Groove logo on all promotional material. The logos are available via email per request. In the case that any of this information, be it text or graphics, is absent from any promotional materials used to promote the engagement, a penalty fee of will be imposed upon Purchaser.
