Masterclass at University of Oklahoma for Garland HS Low Brass (2017) UCO Low Brass Day (2017): Presented on daily routine and conducted the HS massed ensemble. OkMEA Convention (2017): Coached All-State Wind Symphony Trombone section. University of Oklahoma (2016): Masterclass on second-round All-State etudes for area euphoniumists. Roger Bobo s Festival of Brass (2015): Took part in masterclasses, chamber ensembles, and seminars with faculty including legendary tubist Roger Bobo, Tom Lukowicz, Richard Perry, and Travis Scott. William Adam International Trumpet Festival (2015): Took part in clinics, ensembles, and coaching sessions with artists knowledgeable in the pedagogy of William Adam, including Don Harry, Greg Wing, John Harbaugh, Jerry Hey, Robert Slack, and more. I first became interested in the teachings of William Adam during a semester of independent study with Dr. Karl Sievers, and I endeavor to use many principles pioneered by Mr. Adam in my own playing and teaching. Great Plains Regional Tuba-Euphonium Conference (2015): Took part in masterclasses, panel discussions, and performances as part of the conference. Competed in and won the chamber music competition with the OU Tuba-Euphonium Quartet. Mid-West Trombone/Euphonium Conference (2014): Presented a recital as a guest artist during the conference at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. National Trumpet Competition (2014): Participated in clinics and masterclasses during the 4

competition at Messiah College in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and competed with the OU Trumpet Ensemble in the chamber music competition. Organized the first tuba-euphonium festival at the University of Oklahoma. Festival consisted of a recital of tuba/euphonium chamber music, a recital of tuba and euphonium solo music, and a guest artist recital, The US Army Pershing s Own Tuba-Euphonium Quartet. (November 11th, 12th, and 14th, 2014; University of Oklahoma). South Central Regional Tuba-Euphonium Conference (2013): Participated in clinics and masterclasses during the conference at Louisiana State University and competed in the chamber music competition with the OU Tuba-Euphonium Quartet. Whistler Music Festival - Whistler, British Columbia, Canada (2011): Principal euphoniumist with a featured ensemble at the festival, the Troy University Symphony Band. Commissioned Works & Premiers Horizons for Solo Euphonium and Wind Band by Ken Friedrich (2018) This work is scheduled to be premiered with the ECU Wind Ensemble in early 2018. Voyage for Solo Euphonium and Piano by Eli Breon (2017) Performed world premier of this work in recital on October 31, 2017 in Norman, Oklahoma. Intermezzi for Euphonium and Piano by Sy Brandon (2014) This work was commissioned by a consortium of euphoniumists including myself, Adam Frey, and five other accomplished euphoniumists.
