PERORMANCE NOTES Hving been born just little fter the time period when the Betles were populr, I hve ctully become cquinted with their music mostly through the recordings nd rrngements of other rtists. This one ws inspired by George Benson recording from collection of Betles music. It is intended to give the song more modern nd soulful tretment thn the originl. The pinist should mke sure to keep n bsolutely stedy tempo, mking sure not to rush the syncoptions. All of the grce notes nd cue notes should sound effortless nd spontneous, not lbored. The singers should use light, pop sound. Vowels should not be too tll or drk more horizontl thn verticl in this cse. The syncoptions nd complex rhythms should be ccurte but not ccented. They, too, should sound effortless nd spontneous. It might be helpful to keep the constnt eighth note pulse in mind throughout, even when singing different rhythms. Miniml vibrto will help the blend of the group nd will lso be pproprite to the overll pop sound of the rrngement. Enjoy! Pul Lngford
