Detection of even subtle areas of turbulence, displaying a more physiological blood flow appearance without 11. loss in frame rate. 3. System must allow high frame rate acquisition of tissue motion (up to 250 fps). System must be capable of assigning high resolution 2-D and Tissue Doppler from the same pulse to achieve high frame rate. 13. System should allow Strain Quantification, Tissue Doppler Imaging (TDI), Velocity mode quantification, the myocardial velocity and derives the strain rate and strain along user defined M-lines. 14. The system shall provide 180 db full time input dynamic range. 15. Color Kinesis (CK) tool for displaying semi-automated borders over time parametrically. Cine-loop memory preferably more than 120 MB high grade. a. High frame rate review for better clarity of play back images study in slow motion. 16. b. Should also have onscreen recall, measurement and text editing facilities. 32. System should have facility to transfer images to DVD RW, CD-RW. Must support JPEG format, DICOM format, AVI format for loop storage. Transferred images must be viewed on PC without any need of special software. 33. System should have retrospective capture of up to 5 seconds while in live imaging. 34. System shall support acquisition, storage in local memory, and display in real time and duplex modes of more than 2000 frames. 35. System shall support import and export of 3-D data to a removable media and should have bidirectional data flow facility and should be DICOM compatible. 36. Should be up-gradable to next generation system on site. 37. System should have direct connectivity for Ink Jet (B/W or colored ) printer. Should have a built in digital archival systems for image storage and archival with reporting facilities. The images 38. should be stored and analyzed with true frame rates, extensive post processing, re-measurement, analysis, generation of new reports. Magnetic Optical disc, CD and floppy drives should be available. 39. Should provide software up-gradation free of cost for next five years. 40. System should have voice command facility. 41. System should have networking facility as standard. 42. Should have facility for color power Angio, highly sensitive mode for small vessel visualization with cine loop review, with controls for gain, filters, sensitivity. 43. Should have 80 GB or more of storage capacity.

Per-operative probe and its package. 45. System Peripherals a. S-VHS-VCR with calculation facility on play back. Colored Thermal Printer with print command from machine key-board. 46. System should be quoted with the following items. a. Live 3-D Color Doppler probe and system with all application packages. b. Adult Cardiac electronic phased array probe (Broadband). c. 1.9 MHz C/W probe d. Pediatric cardiac electronic phased array probe (Broadband). e. Trapezoidal/Linear probe for vascular application. f. Multiplane Adult TEE probe g. Multiplane Pediatric TEE probe h. Rates of the per operative probe should be quoted separately. i. Quad loop for serial studies with high frame rate review. j. Harmonic imaging capability in al modes (Tissue, contrast, angio). k. Super VHS VCR l. Color printer image acquired on computer with high resolution print out on plain paper. m. Furniture for Echo Room and appropriate air- conditioning for the machine. 47. The company should also provide the networking for imaging modality and network hospital management system with server and internet connectivity. Rates for this facility may be quoted separately. 48. Original manufacture s product catalog and specification sheets should be attached. Photocopy or computer print will not be accepted

49. All information in the tender document must be supported with product data sheet. All information asked for must be provided in the same order as in the specification. Incomplete and ambiguous information will not be accepted. 50. The machine should be provided with 5 years guarantee including spares & service. 51. A certificate stating that spare parts will be available for 10 years from the date of supply to ensure proper functioning of machine (Rate list of the spares valid for 10 years should also be submitted). 52. Annual comprehensive maintenance contract rates for 10 years after the expiry of guarantee period should also be quoted. 53. The rates should be quoted FOR up to Department of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005, (U.P.). 54. L.C will be opened for the purchase of the equipment. 55. Company should demonstrate the machine before opening of the tender. Both offers meet most of the Tender Technical specifications and Recommended for Technical approval.
