CHANNEL 3 OR 4 SELECTION SWITCH: channel switch for channels 3 or 4 output to TV. 3. OFF-AIR ANTENNA IN : Antenna input from TV. 4. ETHERNET JACK: Ethernet output. 5. HDMI OUT : HDMI output for TV for High-Definition Televisions. 6. COMPOSITE VIDEO/AUDIO OUT : (RCA pin jack) for TV. 7. COMPONENT VIDEO OUT : for TV. 8. TV Service How to connect the set-top box to your TV Cabling Option 1: HDMI OUTPUT. For the best quality picture (with High-Definition TV), connect an HDMI cable (supplied by customer) from the set-top box s HDMI OUT to the HDMI IN on the back of the High-Definition TV. Cabling Option 2: COMPONENT FOR VIDEO CONNECTION. Connect one end of the Component cable (red, green, blue) to the component video connection on the back of the set-top box. Connect the other end of the cable to the component input connection on your TV. Use the red and white composite cable to connect your audio. Cabling Option 3: RCA/COMPOSITE AUDIO/VIDEO. Connect one end of the RCA Audio (red and white) and the Video (yellow) cable to the Audio/Video OUT ports on the back of the set-top box. Connect the other end of the RCA Composite Audio (red and white) and Video (yellow) to the RCA Composite IN ports on the back of the TV. Cabling Option 4: COAXIAL. Using a coaxial cable, connect one end of a coaxial cable to the RF TV/COAX OUT port on the back of the set-top box. Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to the coaxial IN port on the back of the TV. Note: Coaxial cable carries both an Audio stream and a Video stream. No other cables are necessary. How to connect the set-top box to your VCR or DVD player Cabling Option 1: COAXIAL. Using a coaxial cable, connect one end of a coaxial cable from the set-top box RF TV/Coaxial OUT to the Coaxial IN of the DVD or VCR. Then using another coaxial cable, connect the Coaxial Out from DVD or VCR OUT to the Coaxial IN on the TV. Or you can connect a Composite Audio/Video OUT from the DVD or VCR to the TV s Composite Audio/Video IN. Note: The set-top box, DVR/VCR player and TV must all be set to either channel 3 or channel 4. Cabling Option 2: RCA/COMPOSITE AUDIO/VIDEO (Red, White, Yellow). Connect a Composite Audio/Video OUT from the VCR or DVD to the TVs Composite Audio/Video IN. 3

TV Service Setting up a Ruckus wireless Ethernet connection 1. Power up the Ruckus 2111/7111 Multimedia Wireless Adapter and wait for about a minute. There is no predetermined light configuration that will be displayed. 2. To configure your new Ruckus 2111/7111 Wireless Adapter, first power on the new unit near your existing Ruckus 2825/7811 Multimedia Wireless Router. Then connect a CAT5 cable between the LAN port of the Ruckus 2111/7111 and the WAN port of the Ruckus 2825/7811 Wireless Router. Leave the CAT5 cable connected for five minutes. CAT5 Cable 3. When the Ruckus units have completed the configuration, you will see the light combinations shown below. In addition, the light in the lighted dome on the top of the Ruckus 2825/7811 unit will begin spinning in a counter-clockwise motion. Remove the CAT5 cable connecting the Ruckus 2111/7111 to the Ruckus 2528/7811. Spinning lighted dome Flashing On solid 5
4. Finally, after connecting your new set-top box to your TV, connect a CAT5 cable from the LAN port of your Ruckus 2111/7111 Multimedia Wireless Adapter to the Ethernet port on the Entone Amulet set-top box with both units powered on. CAT5 Cable 5. You will see all green lights on the Ruckus 2111/7111 when everything is operating properly, and TV programming will begin to display.
