Pecos Rd., Chandler, AZ 85225 AUDITIONS Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 4:15 PM A Christmas Carol gets the full Broadway treatment by the Broadway team of Alan Menken ( Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid ), Lynn Ahrens ( Ragtime, Seussical ) and Mike Okrent ( Crazy for You, Me and My Girl ). A Christmas Carol retains its emotional power and pure joy, thanks to the marvelously-told story and score filled with beautiful melodies and emotional lyrics. In fact, the song A Place Called Home has become a holiday standard. This will be the only East Valley production of the Menken/Ahrens/Okrent version in 2010. PERFORMANCES Thurs, Dec. 2 (7:30 pm) - Fri., Dec. 3 (11:00 am & 7:30 pm) - Sat., Dec. 4 (2:00 pm & 7:30 pm) Please see next page for complete list of report/call times REHEARSALS Beginning Nov. 2, rehearsal times will be Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:15 pm to-5:30 pm. Extended tech rehearsals on Nov. 23 from 12:40 pm to whenever, Nov. 24 from 12:40 pm to 6:00 pm, and Nov.29 thru Dec.1 from 6:15 pm to whatever time is needed as required for all performers. Performers in the musical are REQUIRED to complete 10 hours of assistance in either the costume or scene shop. Please indicate your areas of interest: Costuming Set Construction Props Additional work options may be available in tech support or office assistance. Performers selected for participation must enroll in the appropriate class section before the rehearsals begin and be a student in good standing throughout the production. Performers are also responsible for providing ONE usher for one of the performances. A sign- up sheet is available in the office and should be arranged at least two weeks prior to the performance. The usher will be allowed to view the production for free. Performers are expected to be on time for all scheduled rehearsals and curtain calls. They agree to be fully prepared and ready to work cooperatively with cast and directors.
