Nash Endowed Chair in U.S. History at the University of California, Los Angeles, to campus for the 2018 Preyer Lecture. Their lauded jazz ensemble Going Through Changes presents an entertaining but thought-provoking concert that tells the stories of trials and triumph experienced by people of color in this community and throughout the world. That s why it s no surprise that a team of local artists organized The Art Outside, a city-wide mural festival. In conjunction with the Talking Walls Mural Festival, a select group of muralists and street artists will exhibit their vibrant artwork. The opening night reception features live painting, live music and artist talks. It s a night of inspiring visual beauty you won t want to miss.

The evening will celebrate all of our Charlotte community s more than three dozen Holocaust survivors and the successes of the Greenspon Center s first two years.
