TWO is an award winning comic play filled with twists and turns. Taking place over the course of one evening the play highlights the rocky relationship of the landlord and landlady of a busy local pub; we meet fourteen assorted characters, as the colourful regulars pull up a stool and let us into their lives. Sometimes humorous, sometimes poignant, yet always incredibly human, the play reveals the lives and loves, the triumphs and tragedies of ordinary people and shows that they are far less ordinary than you might think.

THE HISTORY BOYS BY ALAN BENNETT 27 February - 2 March 2018 7.00pm Ticket Price - 6.00 15 An unruly bunch of bright, funny sixth-form boys in a British boarding school are, as such boys will be, in pursuit of good times, sport, and a place at a good university - generally in that order. In all their efforts, they are helped and hindered, enlightened and bemused, by a maverick English teacher who seeks to broaden their horizons in sometimes undefined ways, and by a young history teacher who questions the methods, as well as the aim of their schooling. In Alan Bennett s classic play, staff room rivalry and the anarchy of adolescence provoke insistent questions about history and how you teach it; about education and its purpose. DIANA PRINCE: ORIGINS OF A LEGEND LEVEL 2 ACTING FINAL MAJOR PROJECT: MARVELLOUS MULTI MEDIA 1 May - 4 May 2018 7.00pm 23 May 2018 7.00pm Ticket Price - 8.00 U A legendary tale of a true Amazonian warrior using Diana Prince as her guise, who returns to the New World from Paradise Island to save the human race from Nazi Power. With her lasso and shield Diana Prince will become the infamous Wonder Woman. This popular comic creation will be explored and brought to life through the medium of dance. Ticket Price - free PG In our digital age, we are accustomed to regularly interacting with many kinds of digital media and much of the work of experimental artists over recent years has explored this development. In their Final Major Project level 2 students will experiment with technology and materials, and develop skills in how to plan and incorporate media into live performance. This show promises to be an exciting departure from the more traditional performance conventions covered in the course.

Past final major production showcases have featured works from contemporary classics such as Sister Act Our House and traditional masterpieces from the likes of Rodgers and Hammerstein and Stephen Schwartz. A showcase of contemporary theatre performed by students in the final year of the Extended Diploma in Acting. This is a chance to see the next generation of bright young talent as they light up the stage with a vibrant selection of challenging modern classics. The performance tackles thought-provoking themes with stark and uncompromising language, that explores the human tensions at the centre of the drama.

They will create their own song cycle production using both modern and classical musicals as their inspiration.
