Week one: 20 26 January Olivier Award 2016 Fishamble: The New Play Company presents: Written and Performed by: Pat Kinevane Directed by: Jim Culleton Produced by: Eva Scanlan Argus Angel Award Brighton Festival 2012 Fringe First & Herald Angel Edinburgh Fringe 2011 #FishambleSilent Hopeless, helpless, in-the-way person Homeless McGoldrig has lost it all - including his mind. Dare to laugh at despair and gasp at redemption in this brave, bleak, beautiful production for which Fishamble and Pat Kinevane won an Olivier Award last year. passionate one-man show...mr. Kinevane interprets Valentino s highly theatrical screen presence to stunning effect...carefully wrought production...[he] doesn t just demand [the audience s] attention, he commands it. And that difference is what makes Mr. Kinevane an artist of the theater. Ben Brantley, The New York Times writing and a performance of unflagging and effortless panache that grabs your heart and squeezes tightly. Lyn Gardner, The Guardian unflinching, intensely physical performance...bristling with black humour The Scotsman bawdily humorous and at times moving production Kinevane moves around the stage with extraordinary grace Irish Mail on Sunday Age Suitability: 15+ Running Time: 90min No Interval Fishamble is an internationally acclaimed Irish theatre company, dedicated to the discovery, development and production of new work. www.fishamble.com

Week one: 20 26 January #FishambleForgotten Fishamble: The New Play Company presents: Has no one a skitter o dignity left? A unique collage of Kabuki dance and Irish storytelling, Forgotten has been a huge international success for Fishamble during the past decade. It is a captivating portrayal of four elderly characters living in retirement homes around Ireland. Pat Kinevane s haunting performance brings to life these sometimes forgotten voices of society. incredibly moving and unequivocally beautiful immediate and compelling The Scotsman exceptional solo show a bravura display by Kinevane, full of robust vitality and a roguish, twinkling wit The Herald Drop everything. Book now...captivating, moving and - yes - even unforgettable Irish Times Written and Performed by: Pat Kinevane Directed by: Jim Culleton Produced by: Eva Scanlan a piece of theatre not easily forgotten its best moments linger in the mind and haunt you on the way home, and after, maybe a performance of rare authority and completeness a seductive, compelling quality, performed with grace and rigour. The Sunday Tribune Age Suitability: 14+ Running Time: 95min No Interval Fishamble is an internationally acclaimed Irish theatre company, dedicated to the discovery, development and production of new work. www.fishamble.com

Week two: 29 January 3 February Seamus O Rourke Seamus O Rourke is a writer, director and actor...and an independent producer with his own company Big Guerilla Productions. As a writer, his plays include Ride On (Liven Dread 2011) dig, Down and The Trappe Family (Corn Mill Theatre) dig, For Club and County (Moth Productions) Victor s Dung and My Aunt Bee (Big Guerilla Productions) and his three One-Man-Shows, The Sand Park, Padraig Potts Guide to Walking and Indigestion (Big Guerilla Productions). Big Guerilla Productions presents: Arthur Riordan Recent stage appearances include Krapp s last tape at the Theatre Royal, Waterford, The Kings of the Kilburn High Road (Livin Dred/Verdant productions), and Swing (Fishamble, the New Play Company). He has also worked extensively with Rough Magic (he is a founding member), as well as many other leading Irish theatre companies, including the Abbey and Peacock. Seamus O Rourke once again brings us a story full of heartache and humour, as a pair of aging, rural, bachelor brothers arrive at a point in their lives, where decisions have to be made about certain things... well the buying of a television for one...and one subject leads to another and the next thing, they re bringing up all kinds of auld shite that could have been left under the bed along with everything else. Written by: Seamus O Rourke Directed by: Bairbre Ni Chaoimh Performed by: Seamus O Rourke Arthur Riordan Eugene McPartland is woken by his brother Pat in the middle of the night in 1979. Not only does Pat wake him, but he has his good suit on him too... and a light on in the bedroom and another on the landing...and as well as burning up the electric, he now wants to talk... Age Suitability: 15+ Running time: 100min 10min Interval

Week three: 5 10 February Little John Nee is widely regarded as one of Irelands leading solo theatre performers, his songs have been praised by John Prine and his theatre shows have received critical acclaim in the UK and in the US. Small Halls and Potholes is an evening of eccentric songs and strange stories; There are parts of Ireland that are less explored than the moon that s where I go to get my songs Little John s shows combine lyrical comic storytelling with original music and songs played on a variety of intriguing instruments creating magical soundscapes. Written, Directed and Performed by: Little John Nee He received an Irish Times Theatre Award for Best Sound Designer for Sparkplug and the subsequent RTE Radio Drama adaption won a prize at the prestigious Prix Italia 2013. He was elected to Aosdana in 2016. A book of his haiku The Apocalypse Came On A Friday was published the same year. Small Halls and Potholes has travelled to Hungary, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovenia and Vienna as part of a Five Cities Tour We rode a wave of emotion with him, the peaks and the troughs. And afterwards, we felt good, better than we had a couple of hours earlier. Everyone was smiling. Reflective smiles that come with having been privy to something special. The Budapest Times Age Suitability: 14+ Running time: 90min No Interval

Week four: 12 16 February Bewley s Little Gem Award Dublin Fringe 2014 Stewart Parker Prize 2015 Noni Stapleton Noni is an Irish actress, voice over artist and playwright. She has continued to work in theatre, tv and film over the years and has also performed in many Irish language productions. Theatre highlights include Performance Corporation s Lizzy Lavelle and The Vanishing of Emlyclough, The Laramie Project, Massacre @ Paris, Little Victories, A Midsummer Night s Dream and The Good Father. Screen credits include Penny Dreadful, Inspector Jury, Vikings and Fair City. Written & Performed by: Noni Stapleton Directed & Developed by: Bairbre Ní Chaoimh A surreal, black comedy, Charolais takes the age old story of female jealousy and gives it a new twist: the other woman is a cow, a literal one, a purebred Charolais heifer. Rarely in Irish theatre are the challenges of farming life and the joy of sex expressed so frankly. This hilarious take on rural life and love is a paradox: superficially crude, it s full of wisdom and tenderness. Sunday Independent The last thing you would expect in an Irish rural drama is a parody of Edith Piaf. But Stapleton, is all Gallic sexiness...and conveying what an unsophisticated Irish girl might not otherwise be able to Irish Examiner A fast-paced, witty, and intensely emotional tale filled with laughter, loss and despair Irish Times Age Suitability: 15+ Running Time: 70min No Interval
