Intel Party, San Jose CA String Theory stunned the 600 attendees for the Intel yearly gathering. The 24 strings of The Curve Harp stretched over 100 feet to adorn the Fairmont San Jose and String Theory performed ethereal music throughout the evening. Villa Bella, Beverly Hills CA String Theory transformed the entry to the old Buster Keaton estate for Victoria Jackson & Bill Guthy s Holiday Party in 2013. String Theory was the hit of the evening, and notable attendees were Dustin Hoffman, Eli Broad and Jane Fonda. VivoCity, Singapore String Theory was brought out to Singapore by G-Pop Int l. Music Productions for the giant kick-off VivoCity center. In residence for 10 days, String Theory performed many shows, and generated huge international press for the new venue. They also did a private performance for The King Of Singapore. Cira Center, Philadelphia, PA Working with the creative director of the Grand Opening Gala for The Cira Center by César Pelli, Luke designed and implemented a sixty meter long-string installation in the grand foyer. String Theory performed multiple shows for a wide audience over the three day opening celebration. A photo of String Theory s Curve Harp was picked up by AP and created publicity for the project from a live interview with the BBC to stories in SF Chronicle and other high profile outlets. Ritz Grand Caymen, Gala Opening String Theory transformed the facade of The Ritz Grand Caymen, and kicked off the event festivities with a high energy focal performance opening for Sheryl Crow. The show was a huge hit and the audience was mespmerized. Later Sheryl Crow told the audience String Theory was the coolest opening act she ever had. Santa Barbara Museum of Art SBMA commissioned String Theory to participate in their annual Nights series for the past five years. They worked with curators and engineers to create multiple long string installations. The interior Galleries were transformed into stunning musical environments, and exterior facades got a sonic makeover for the lauded events.

String Theory s Cyclodrums add a beautiful visual and sonic element. Both instrument and set-design piece, they can be lit any color or projected on, and they can also spin for added kinetic energy. Here are the Cyclodrums in action at: The Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, a giant street fair in Singapore, and at a private residance in Bel Air. All of the String Theory invented instruments and installation designs are created by co-founder Luke Rothschild. Drawing on his degree in fine art, Luke conceptualizes and fabricates sonic sculptures and invented instruments for live performances, freelance design commissions, and private residencies. The Bubbleharp (below) is a freestanding instrument made with copper, plexiglass, oak & brass. It has 16 strings, stands 10 feet tall, and is 14 feet long.
Dance vignettes by choreographer Holly Rothschild have wide potential applications, and always add stunning and arresting visuals to any event. String Theory dancers performing Smoke Skirts at The Getty Museum for a private party for the Estee Lauder family, and at the Grand Opening Gala of Segerstrom Concert Hall in Orange County.
