Daventry & District U3A Newsletter No 23 for March 2017 Please share this Newsletter with members who do not have email facilities. - Thank you A message from your Chair Hello Everyone The big news is that our Thursday meeting this will be our second Annual Open Day. There will be displays from our many interest groups, details of our forthcoming trips and outings and an opportunity to meet and talk to group leaders, members, and the committee. Entrance and refreshments are free and the meeting is open to non-members so why not bring a friend? Membership renewal and application forms will also be available. HORSE RIDING - CALLING INDEPENDENT RIDERS Have you enjoyed the odd canter/gallop out in the countryside? THEATRE TRIPS AND DAYS OUT REMINDER THEATRE TRIPS REMINDER THEATRE TRIPS...REMINDER There are still tickets remaining for 'Billy Elliot' at Milton Keynes theatre at 2:30 on Thursday, June 15 th. This may seem a long way off, but I need to confirm the booking before the April meeting so, if you would like to go, please let me know at the March meeting (16 th ) at the latest. I have asked if anyone would be interested in going to Birmingh Hippodrome in the Autumn. Transport would be provided for this one. The shows that I thought might be of interest are: 'Miss Saigon' or...'hairspray'...or...'the Carol King Musical, 'Beautiful' No tickets booked yet. I need to know which would be the most appealing so chat with me at the March meeting or drop me an email. Rodmarton Manor we already have taken several bookings.
