REMOTE CONTROL Before making any connections to the scaler, observe the following: > Ensure the mains voltage supply matches the label on the supplied plugpack (+/- 0%). > Ensure that the power switch is OFF. > Ensure that all system grounds (earth) are connected to a common point. > Avoid powering the device within a system of multiple power sources that are separated by large distance. REMOTE CONTROL > Connect all audio/video source and display devices. > ower up all source and display audio-visual devices. > To yield video/audio to an output, select the input source by using the front panel input buttons, the supplied IR remote control, or through the RS 22 serial communication port. > Upon powering up, the scaler will automatically apply the setting last used. For guidance on the OSD options, please refer to the OSD instruction manual. TROUBLESHOOTING If you experience a <no signal> with this scaler, first make certain that the signals being fed to the inputs are acceptable.
