Philips hue for first time users How to setup Philips hue Hue is super easy to set up. Once you have your hue starter kit, just screw-in the light bulbs, and turn the light switch on to connect your bridge. First power the bridge up and then plug it into the back of your wireless router, using the LAN network cable provided. The blue lights on the bridge will go on one-by-one and when all four lights remain on continuously, you re just about there. Now go to meethue.com to download the app. The first time it opens it will search for your bridge and connect to the light bulbs or Friends of hue product. Once that's done, you can use the app to control your home lighting.
