There is one main stage. In the food area there are two very small side stages. It has no conflict with the main stage as side stages are on during the changeover. 4. LOGISTICS & ADDRESS ACCESS TO THE FESTIVAL You must park at the festival parking with any vehicle! All passenger cars and nightliners park at the artist parking during the whole stay. Power and toilet are available. There is a shuttle service for all artists. It s a 5min-drive to the festival. Trucks and equipment cars have to wait at the festival parking. A local guide will take you to the festival. DO NOT TRY TO DRIVE TO THE FESTIVAL BY YOUR OWN! Trucks higher than 3.2m must arrive before 11AM and can t depart before 3AM the next morning! 24th & 25th Aug 2018 ½3700 Spiez, Switzerland FESTIVAL ADDRESS The Festival takes place in Spiez, Switzerland. Spiez is a small town in the Bernese Alps. Spiez is just at the border of the Lake Thun. Note: There is no postal address for the festival. TECHNICAL INFORMATION GENERAL Promoter shall supply the complete stage system, waterproof roof, wings, mixing tower, etc. and the complete sound and lighting system, follow spots, and a professional sound and light crew. All sound, light, visual equipment and backline conforms to festival equipment standards. See separate technical specifications. STAGE FACILITIES & PERSONNEL There will be a dock/loading ramp leading up to the production area at the back of the stage. The entire stage area is covered by a waterproof roof. Mixing area will be constructed at a usual distance from the stage front depending on size of stage. Promoter shall construct a crowd control barrier of a solid and strong construction along the entire front of the stage. Promoter shall supply and pay for a sufficient number of able, sober, and strong stagehands to assist all equipment unloading and reloading under the direction of stage manager. Stagehands are available from time of access to production area until time of equipment departure. 6. PERMITS & SOUND RESTRICTIONS PERMITS & LICENCES Promoter shall, at his own cost, obtain all licences, permits, certificates, authorizations or other approvals required to be obtained from any union, guild, public authority, performing rights society or other entity properly having jurisdiction over or with respect to the engagement and shall comply with and fulfil all terms, conditions and covenants set forth therein. SOUND RESTRICTIONS - 100DB(A) LEQ/60MIN Management has to take full cognisance of the below-referenced Swiss law and furthermore agree to comply with the decibel limitation stipulated therein on the occasion of to be held in Spiez, Switzerland: «The decree of May 1, 2007 issued by the «Swiss Federal Department of Public Health» concerning the protection of the audience against potentially injurious sound emissions at music events specifies a maximum permissible sound level of 100dB(A) leq/60 min, which level shall be continually monitored and, in the event of an infraction, enforced by the local police. The sound level shall be measured in the front of the stage at the most exposed place during the entire duration of the performance» 7. SECURITY Promoter is responsible for the maintenance of public order and the general safety of the artist and his equipment, and it is the promoter s sole responsibility to ensure that it is safe for the artist to perform. Promoter shall provide adequate security by experienced, trained, unarmed and non-uniformed security personnel who will work in cooperation with artist s security personnel. 8. DRESSING ROOMS & BACKSTAGE AREA DRESSING ROOMS Promoter shall supply a porta cabin as dressing room depending on number of members in the band and crew. The rooms are for the sole use of the artist and contain chairs, table, mirror, adequate lighting and power outlets. There is no running hot or cold water in the dressing rooms. BACKSTAGE AREA There are toilet facilities, showers and wash basins in the backstage area. The Showers are for the use of all artists and crews. The space in the backstage area is limited. The backstage area has to be shared. PRODUCTION OFFICE There is a production office in the backstage area with WiFi and working space. Production office has to be shared - space is limited. ARTIST CATERING Promoter shall supply and pay for artist s catering around the time of the actual performance. Menus cooked freshly during the day/night. Important: Promoter doesn t pay buy outs or meals outside of the artist catering area or in a restaurant/the hotel. 9. MERCHANDISE Merchandise will be sold at the festival shop only. The fee is 15% of the income. Promoter will cash up in the evening after the show. 10. MISCELLANEOUS ARSTIST FESTIVAL PASS Artist will have general access to the entire festival and production area. GUEST LIST Guests of the artist will receive a free ticket for the public area. PHOTO & MEDIA Only accredited and registered journalists have access to the festival.
