TECHNICAL RIDER GENERAL INFORMATION Theater Unspeakable/Moon Shot travels with a stage manager and seven actors and sometimes a company manager, as well.. Theater Unspeakable agrees to provide, at its own expense, the following: A. Costumes, properties, and ipod with pre/post-show music for the performance. B. Transportation for all Theater Unspeakable personnel to and from the performance site. C. Sustenance for all Theater Unspeakable personnel except as requested. D. Light plot and specific technical requirements a minimum of three () weeks in advance of performance.. PRESENTER agrees to provide at its own expense, the following: A. Printing and distribution of all tickets and programs for the performance or residency. B. All advertising and other printed materials related to performance. C. All front of house staff, including box office personnel, ticket takers, ushers, security, janitor and other personnel as necessary for performance or residency. D. Theater Unspeakable requires that the Presenter provide lighting equipment, stereo sound system and crew. E. Storage: Presenter agrees to store Theater Unspeakable props and set pieces on-site. They may be stored in the dressing rooms if there is enough space. F. Tech Rehearsal: Theater Unspeakable requires at minimum one () one-hour tech rehearsal with lighting/sound technician in the performance space; taking place within one week of first performance. Unless it is Version III (see below), which requires at minimum one () three-hour tech rehearsal. LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS A. Theater Unspeakable requires the specific lighting plot (see attached Version III plot) for performances of Moon Shot. Theater Unspeakable does

not carry any lighting equipment other than gobbos. Presenter agrees to pre-hang Theater Unspeakable light plot prior to Theater Unspeakable load-in. Pre-hang will include hanging and/or installing any and all lighting equipment, cabling, patching, and verifying that all equipment is in good working order. B. In the case that no lighting instruments are available, Moon Shot may still be performed without light cues ( Version I ) which is only applicable in special circumstances such as school gymnasiums, school auditoriums, etc. Such instances must be discussed and agreed upon before any contracts are signed. Any such change in venue for any reason must be expressly agreed to by Theater Unspeakable. C. In the case that the show is being presented with extenuating circumstances such as but not limited to being in repertory with other shows or with limited tech time at the venue, Moon Shot may be performed with limited light cues (see attached Version II plot) to be agreed upon by Theater Unspeakable. D. Inventory of theater s lighting equipment and the theater s technical specifications must be received by Theater Unspeakable Production Stage Manager within 90 days of anticipated performance or as soon as contract is signed. An experienced lighting technician must be available starting approximately 8:00AM day of the performance or two hours before the first performance through the end of the first performance. This person should be experienced in theatrical lighting. Resident Lighting Designer: Venue will provide one () Resident Lighting Designer (this person can also be the above technician) who will assist Theater Unspeakable s Stage Manager with focus. Also, if the Presenter is using the semi-limited light plot, American Revolution Version II, this person will help create different looks on faders, using that specific rider s cue guide. Crew: An additional - technicians must be available to focus the lighting rig during scheduled hours for the focus. - technicians should also be available on lunch break and dinner break for any focus changes. - technicians must be available during the run of the show backstage. Running lights: adequate low-level blue lighting should be provided backstage left and right, as well as along any crossovers and other actor pathways. This system should be set up prior to focus. Booms: Please dress boom cables neatly, as they are in full view of the audience. For the safety of our performers, no cable should run along the floor between booms. If any offstage areas, such as the wings, cables should be

dressed neatly in the air or along the walls, so that they are not a trip hazard for the performers. Extra sidearm: Please provide a sidearm for each unit on boom. Color: Gels and accessories appropriate for house instrumentation should be provided. If the requested color is unavailable, please arrange for purchase or contact the lighting designer to choose an appropriate substitute. Gobbos: All gobbos will be provided by Theater Unspeakable. Light Board: An ETC Eos family light board is required when mounted the full lighting designed production of American Revolution, Version III. Light Plot: Theater Unspeakable will provide a light plot (see attached Version II and III plots) to Presenter 90 days in advance of engagement or as soon as contract is signed. Lighting Designer will help adapt the light plot to fit the circumstances of each theater. Light plot will take into account, but will not necessarily be limited by, equipment inventory. SOUND REQUIREMENTS A. Theater Unspeakable requests use of any available sound system provided by the presenter for pre-show and post-show music as well as ambient microphones during the performance (mandatory for houses larger than 00 seats). No other sound effects or music are to be in effect during the performance of Moon Shot. LOAD-IN/LOAD-OUT A. Theater Unspeakable requires one hour to load-in and one hour to load-out. B. Note: load-in time is separate from and should not be included as part of the time allotted for tech rehearsal. For example, if Version III is being utilized, then the venue needs to allot four hours prior to first performance (one hour for load-in and three hours for tech rehearsal). HOSPITALITY A. Theater Unspeakable requires bottled water for all performances. B. In days with two or more performances light refreshments such as fruit, juice, coffee and snack food. AIRPORT PICKUP A. Theater Unspeakable requires a pickup to and from the airport to be provided by the Presenter unless otherwise agreed upon. DRESSING ROOMS

A. Theater Unspeakable requires two fully cleaned dressing rooms upon arrival. B. Access to onsite laundry facility for standard costume laundry before, during and after performances. C. Should have ample tables, mirrors and make-up lights. D. Dressing rooms should be available two hours before performance time. CREW A.
