Robert Lau Robert Lau holds a B.S. in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College, an M.A. in Theory from Eastman School of Music and Ph.D. in Musicology from The Catholic University of America. Dr. Lau was a member of the faculty of Lebanon Valley College where he taught music theory and chaired the Music Department. He also served as Adjunct Professor at Penn State Harrisburg where he taught in the School of Humanities. Dr. Lau is the Organist/Choirmaster at Mt. Calvary Episcopal Church in Camp Hill, PA, a position he has held for more than 25 years. He also teaches violin, viola and composition privately. He has more than 250 choral and keyboard works published by the leading music publishing companies of the United States, and has been commissioned to write choral, keyboard and vocal works for a variety of institutions, churches and individuals. He is a consistent winner of Special Awards from ASCAP for his published choral and keyboard works. In 2010 Paraclete Press published his book A Practical Approach to Improvisation for the Church Organist. Dr. Lau is a former Music Director of the Harrisburg Choral Society and former Artistic Director of Jubilate! Choral Ensemble of Gettysburg, PA.
