1. General Description The optical transceiver module is a hot pluggable CFP form factor designed for use in 100GE links. The to be able to fully support both the IEEE 100GBASE-ER4and ITU-T G.959.1 OTU4 standards (4L1-9C1F). It also is in compliance with 100GBASE-ER, CAUI and MDIO interface. The converts 4-lane 25Gbps optical input signal and 4-lane LWDM 25Gbps optical input signal to 4-lane 25Gb/s electrical data streams. This 4-lane 25Gbps electrical signal is fully compliant with 802.ba CPPI4 specification and allows FR4 host PCB trace up to 25cm. The high performance 25Gbps modulator integrated laser (EML-LD) transmitter and high sensitivity PIN-PD receiver with SOA provide superior performance for 100Gigabit Ethernet applications which can be up to 40Km links. 2.
