One day at Jackson high school lived a young 15 year old girl named Selena Castro. She had moved to Jackson high school over spring break. At her new school she had no friends,and she wasn t fitting in well. One day she saw a group of 3 gorgeous girls. They were getting everyone s the attention. Selena was guessing they were the popular girls. The girls did not look mean at all. A girl in a blue jean jacket with long dark hair named Nikki saw her staring at the 3 girls. Then she introduced herself to selena. The girl introduced her to the 3 girls as well. There was a girl named Shari Brooks,Miley Maxwell, and Mackenzie Hollister. Mackenzie looked gorgeous. After a while Selena finally introduced herself to Nikki. Nikki and Selena started talking to each other and from that day on Selena and Nikki were best friends. One day Selena s mom dropped of Selena and Nikki. When they got into the building there were posters everywhere that read : prom night 8:00-9:00 friday night come and dance. Selena wasn t planning on going to the prom and neither was Nikki. Just then the 3 popular girls walked past them. That s it! Shouted Selena. Nikki was wondering what Selena meant by that so she asked Selena what s it. Selena said if we go to the prom she
might have a chance of becoming prom queen and being popular. Selena also added that we will be so popular that they all might want us into their group. Great idea said Nikki. But why do you wanna be in there group. Why don t you. To me they seem mean said Nikki. Your plan might work but i m not apart of it announced Nikki. Just then the first period bell rang. Nikki and Selena quickly raced to their classrooms. When first period was over Nikki and Selena met up in the library. Selena was still Nikkis best friend so she voted for Selena for prom queen. Just then 3 girls walked by and left a japanese cherry blossom fragrance behind. Many days and nights passed. And finally it was prom night. On the night of prom just before prom Selena and her sister Savannah went shopping. They went to the mall and bought some sparkly blue heels. Soon Selena and Savannah went to the store across from the mall to buy a dress. As soon as they walked inside a gorgeous blue dress caught Selena and Savannahs attention. The dress was 30 dollars. Selena only had 20 dollars left so her sister bought the dress and Selena bought a silver mask to go with it. As soon as Selena got home she went upstairs and got dressed and sprayed on some
perfume. Before prom Selena called Nikki to ask if she had changed her mind but Nikki was still not coming. Selena s dad dropped of Selena in front of the school at 8:05. When Selena walked in she was the center of attention and it felt like Selena s heart was going to fall out through her legs it was scary to Selena. The sparkles on selena s dress sparkled brighter from the reflection of the lights. After a few minutes of staring everyone went back to dancing. She was walking towards the crowd when a blonde haired tall slim boy named chase adam the most popular guy in school walked up to selena. He asked selena to dance with him!!! Selena said sure. The too walked to the center of the dance floor and danced the night away. After 30 minutes of dancing it was time to announce the prom king and queen. A tall dark haired boy stepped on the stage. He said tonight s prom king is the one and only...chase ADAMS!!! Chase gladly stepped on the stage and put on his new crown. The boy said tonight s prom queen is...selena CASTRO!!! The crowd cheered as Selena stepped on the stage happy and relieved. Selena gladly put on the crown. When Selena stepped of the stage the oddest thing happened. Three girls walked up to Selena and asked her
if she wanted to be in there group. Selena said yes because obviously that was her goal. A few minutes passed by when Selena decided to go home. Selena called her dad to pick her up. When she got home she told her family how it felt to win prom queen. Selena said that it felt like you are the most amazingest person on earth. She liked the feeling very much. The next morning Selena s new friends (maybe not friends) picked her up at her house. Selena was wearing blue jeans with a pink shirt. When the girls were halfway to school Mackenzie asked Selena why is her house so small. Selena replied with i don t know i guess my parents didn t have enough money to buy a bigger one. Selena started to feel sad inside. When they arrived at the school Selena told Nikki what it was like to ride with the 3 girls to school. She said that they were very cruel and mean. After they talked the girls went to class. At lunch Selena went over to the table that the 3 girls were at. When she sat down Mackenzie commented that she didn t like the color of your shoes. That s when Selena just didn t want to be with them anymore so Selena politely
said i m sorry but i don t want to be apart of your group because all you do is talk about people and i don t like being talked about. That s when Selena went to go sit by Nikki. And Nikki and Selena decided to never ever get involved in something like that ever again. And that was Selena s story.
